How to Unlock the God of War, Bloodborne, and Shadow of the Colossus Armor Sets in Ghost of Tsushima Iki Island DLC

Welcome to our Ghost of Tsushima Iki Island DLC Forgotten Shrines Guide.

One of the more exciting additions to Ghost of Tsushima with the Iki Island DLC available through the Director’s Cut is a set of three easter egg armor sets based on three other fan favourite PlayStation exclusive titles; God of War, Bloodborne, and Shadow of the Colossus.

To unlock them, you must find three Forgotten Shrines hidden across Iki Island and then perform particular actions while wearing specific armor to trigger a cutscene.

In this guide, we will show you where to find the three Forgotten Shrines and then how to uncover their secrets.

Shrine of Ash – God of War Armor Set

You can find the Shrine of Ash just southeast of Sakai Fort, on the edge of a cliff overlooking a river.

When you arrive, you’ll see a very obvious reference to the start of God of War for PlayStation 4; an Axe in a white tree with a handprint on it.

Collect the scroll on the surface at the base of the statue and then switch to your Sakai Clan Armor.

With the correct armor equipped, stand between the tree and the statue and swipe right on the . You will draw your blade, triggering a cutscene.

When the cutscene ends, you will be wearing a set of Kratos-inspired Sakai Clan Armor.

Blood-Stained Shrine – Bloodborne Armor Set

The Blood-Stained Shrine can be found along the west coast in the southwest quadrant of Iki Island.

When you approach it, you will see many references to the setting of Bloodborne; Yarnham. This includes a murder of crows, many hanging corpses, and a general uneasiness in the air.

To unlock the Bloodborne armor, you must first equip the “Kensei Armor.”

With the correct armor equipped, head up and around onto the cliff that overlooks the shrine, like so:

From there, jump down so that you land in front of the red circle on the base of the shrine. You will take a decent amount of damage from your fall, which you should heal by pressing .

If you are standing in front of the shrine when you heal yourself, a cutscene will trigger and, when it ends, you will be in full Bloodborne-inspired garb.

Shrine of Shadow – Shadow of the Colossus Armor Set

You can find the Shrine of Shadow slightly south of the lakes at Buddha’s Footprints.

To unlock the Shadow of the Colossus Armor, you should start by equipping the Ghost Armor.

Then, stand against the blue markings on the base of the shrine and drop a Smoke Bomb to trigger a cutscene.

When the cutscene ends, you will look like a miniature Colossus in your full Shadow of the Colossus Armor set.
