Where to Find All 10 Editions of "The Escapist Times" in Escape Academy
There are just 10 collectibles to find in Escape Academy. 3 of them are found in the Academy itself, while the remaining 7 can be found in specific Escape Levels.
If you’re hoping to earn the Escape Academy Platinum Trophy, you will need to collect all 10 of these newspapers to secure the “Extra, Extra!” trophy.

I recommend keeping this Collectible Guide open as you play, to ensure you don’t miss any and don’t have to mop them up post-game.
In the Headmaster's Office
Immediately in front of you in the Headmaster’s Office, on the table next to the Globe and Coffee Cup.
In the "Escape Artist" Escape Level
Inside the locked office where the Spray Paint cans are stored, on the table.
In the "Under Pressure" Escape Level
Under the Rubber Duck on the shelves in the first room.
In the "The Breakout" Escape Level
To your left at the start of the level, on the desk in the corner.
In the Library
On the table directly in front of you when you enter the Library.
Also in the Library
In the far left corner, at the back of the room. On a table with a lamp and a candle.
In the "The Tea Kettle" Escape Level
On a bench near the tree at the center of the Greenhouse.
In the "Lab Rat" Escape Level
On the rack next to the TV Stand.
In the "The Rival Room" Escape Level
In an orange container on the ground inside the first room that you spawn in.
In the "Tea N Tea" Escape Level
This is the only Newspaper that’s a little complicated to get to. If you complete the puzzle the way you normally would, then sure; you’d come across it naturally.
However, if you’re following our guide you’d normally be able to blast through this level in minutes if it weren’t for this newspaper.
So, we need to get into the back of the Police Truck first. To do that, first go into the square tent to the left of where you started, and grab the ID card from the corkboard on the left wall.
On your way back out of the tent, enter the code 143 into the lock on the briefcase to the right and grab the canister of Plasticizer from inside.
Next, look for a workbench with a small lockbox on it. Enter the code 1178 to open the lockbox and get the Flower Van keycard and a dictionary we don’t need.
Open the back of the Flower Van and grab the RDX from the back wall.
Once you have that, you can use the ID card to open the back of the Police Truck. Inside, grab the canister of Solvent, then interact with the machine on the back wall.
Add the chemicals to the machine and then set the recipe as follows:
- 60% RDX
- 10% Solvent
- 30% Plasticizer
Press the red button and a bomb will be produced. Grab it and then use it on the back of the white truck, blowing the doors open.
Inside, you will find the newspaper and can now proceed with finishing the level.
