Bloodborne Umbilical Cords Guide

You will need to find 3 Umbilical Cords in order to get the 3rd ending and the game doesn’t really explain where they are or that they’re necessary. Below is the location of each Cord.

Cord #1

This one can be found in the Healing Church Workshop area inside the Abandoned Old Workshop. In order to get to the workshop, you’ll need to defeat the Blood Starved Beast, go back to the Cathedral Ward lamp and take the elevator to the right. At the top you need to go across a bridge towards a tower filled with enemies. Around the right side of this tower (on the outside) is a broken floor that you can drop down which leads to a really dark room with loads of wooden beams. Immediately to the left of the entrance is a wooden beam you can drop down to. Once you’ve dropped down, you’ll need to drop to another platform directly below this one. Once you’ve dropped down a second time, you should see a doorway. Inside is the Abandoned Old Workshop.

Cord #2

Make sure you don’t kill Iosekfa when you have the chance and later, after you killed Rom, The Vacuous Spider, you’ll be able to go back to the Sick Room and she’ll be in the room you started in. Run up to her and kill her, she’ll drop the cord.

Cord #3

You’ll get this cord automatically after you defeat Mergo’s Wet Nurse in the Nightmare of Mensis.
