Trophy Guide

The Crew Motorfest Trophy Guide and Road Map for PlayStation

Welcome to our The Crew Motorfest Trophy Guide. The Crew Motorfest is the third entry in Ubisoft’s “The Crew” racing game franchise. The original game, The Crew, was universally disliked and even recently had its servers shut down. On the flip side, The Crew 2 was very well-received and was a trophy journey I thoroughly enjoyed creating a guide for.

Motorfest, for me, sits somewhere in-between. It’s a strange game that feels almost incomplete, filled with distractions, pop-ups, and labyrinthine menus. There’s so much going on that one really has to work to compartmentalize the trophies and cut through the in-game noise. Through the use of our guide below, we address the game’s trophies in easy-to-understand chunks, drip-feeding the game’s mechanics rather than throwing them over you and seeing how many you can catch.

The trophy journey is rather engaging, offering a range of uniquely entertaining events. Though marred slightly by the overwhelming UI bombardments, this experience emphasizes relaxation and enjoyment rather than intense competition or strict lap times. However, for those events that do involve competition, the game provides extensive control over the difficulty level. This flexibility allows you to tailor your experience, making it as challenging or as relaxed as you prefer.

Phase One | Complete at least 40% of the main campaign

Your main goal in this first phase of our The Crew Motorfest Trophy Guide will be for you to earn the Cars, bikes, rides, and good vibes trophy. It asks that you complete 6 of the 15 “Playlists” in the game. Playlists are essentially as close as you can get to a full story campaign in The Crew Motorfest.

The Crew Motorfest’s trophy list does not require you to beat every playlist. The most Playlists you must complete is 6. You could continue and complete a total of 10 Playlists to unlock access to Fast Travel, which is quite useful for future cleanup, but it’s really not required.

Interestingly, if you have already played The Crew 2, you can import your vehicles from there into Motorfest. Naturally, this will speed up your trophy journey slightly if you can do it, but it’s possible to earn all of the trophies even without doing so, of course.

When asked to select the difficulty at the start of your time in Motorfest, feel free to set it to whatever you feel most comfortable with, and adjust it at your leisure as you play. There are no difficulty-specific trophies.

Complete 6 Playlists

Aloha e na hoa!

Complete your Motorfest welcome for the first time

Unmissable

This trophy unlocks unavoidably at the end of the mandatory introduction when you first start the game.

Setting the Stage

Complete a Playlist for the first time

Unmissable

With the objective in this phase being to unlock Cars, bikes, rides and good vibes by completing 6 Playlists, you’ll obviously unlock the “Setting the Stage” trophy unavoidably along the way.

It will unlock as soon as you collect the vehicular award for the first of your six completed playlists.

The Big League

Complete 15 Motorfest Events

Cumulative

The “The Big League” trophy will unlock upon completion of your 15th event, regardless of what position you were in at the end of them. In actuality, you will not be able to avoid earning this trophy in your pursuit of Cars, bikes, rides and good vibes. Each of the playlists you need to complete consist of several events, and you’ll earn The Big League Trophy before even finishing your second full playlist.

Cars, bikes, rides and good vibes

Complete 6 Playlists

Cumulative

There are over 15 Playlists in The Crew Motorfest, with more being added all the time. To unlock the “Cars, bikes, rides and good vibes” trophy, you need to complete just 6 of these Playlists. You can choose any six to complete.

To begin a playlist, you need to drive to its starting location at a container marked on the map. There, you’ll watch a short introductory video (or skip it), and then you’ll be able to begin tracking the associated events.

Some Playlists cannot be started unless you own a specific vehicle. Unless you have these vehicles from your Crew 2 import, then I would recommend just completing the free-entry playlists.

The ones we completed first were:

  1. Made in Japan
  2. Hawaii Scenic Tour
  3. American Muscle
  4. Rule the Streets
  5. Vintage Garage
  6. 911 Legacy

Each Playlist you complete will unlock some side-activities too. These will be our focus moving into phase two…

Phase Two | Side-Activity Sampling

In this second phase of your The Crew Motorfest Trophy Journey, we’re going to find and complete a modest sampling of the myriad side-activities available on the in-game map. That means; 31 Feats for MotorFeats Madness, 20 Photo Ops for A e s t h e t i c, and 30 Challenges for Can’t dodge this challenger.

There’s far more than the required number of each activity in the game, so you needn’t worry about having to complete them all. If you run across one that is too challenging or that you don’t have the right vehicle for, then you can just do a different one.

You unlock these side activities by activating, progressing, and completing playlists. You should have more than enough side activities unlocked to be able to complete this phase, but if you find yourself needing more then just complete additional playlists! The more you complete; the more choice you’ll have.

Trophies in this phase:

Side-Activity Trophies

Can't dodge this challenger

Complete 30 Challenges

Collectible

The “Can’t dodge this challenger ” trophy asks that you complete a cumulative total of 30 Challenges in The Crew Motorfest.

In the menu, press again to open the Sidebar and then switch to the “Activities” tab. In there, if you open a playlist, you will be able to see all of the relevant events. If you then press , you can change tab to the “Challenges.” Here, you will see all of the Challenges related to that playlist. As you complete events in the playlist, more Challenges will become available.

From within the Challenges tab of a playlist, you can pick out Challenges you want to go for and track one with to have its objective pinned to your HUD during free play.

After completing at least 6 playlists in phase one of your trophy journey, you should have unlocked more than enough Challenges for what you need to do here. However, if you find you need to unlock some more—or you just want more to choose from—complete more playlists!

Challenges have wildly varying objectives. Some of them will ask you to go to great lengths to find collectibles dotted across an area of Hawaii, while some will simply ask you to reach a certain speed with a certain car, and there are many more possible objectives available. There are way more than just 30 Challenges available in the game, so you will be able to freely ignore any that prove to be too much of a chore or challenge.

A e s t h e t i c

Complete 20 Photo Ops

Collectible

The “A e s t h e t i c” trophy asks that you complete a cumulative total of 20 Photo Op activities in The Crew Motorfest.

In the menu, press again to open the Sidebar and then switch to the “Activities” tab. In there, if you open a playlist, you will be able to see all of the relevant events. If you then press , you can change tab to the “Side Activities.” Here, you will see all of the Feats and Photo Ops related to that playlist. As you complete events in the playlist, more side activities will become available.

After completing at least 6 playlists in phase one of your trophy journey, you should have unlocked more than enough Photo Ops for what you need to do here. However, if you find you need to unlock some more—or you just want more to choose from—complete more playlists!

While exploring Hawaii, if you come close to a Photo Op, you’ll be notified via an on-screen pop-up and can press the right side of your button to track it. Alternatively, you can just pick one out and track it directly from the Activities menu. However, Photo Ops do not have waypoints to follow.

Photo Ops instead have a set of requirements that typically require you to be at a certain location in a certain vehicle. You will need to read these requirements, and then use your map to find the noted shooting location. Once there, you need to open Photo Mode with and capture the correct photo.

All of the requirements turn green when they are appropriately present in your photo. Don’t worry about time of day requirements (like Sunset/Midday/Night) because you can change this in Photo Mode’s settings.

MotorFeats Madness

Perform 31 Different Motorfest Feats

In the menu, press again to open the Sidebar and then switch to the “Activities” tab. In there, if you open a playlist, you will be able to see all of the relevant events. If you then press , you can change tab to the “Side Activities.” Here, you will see all of the Feats and Photo Ops related to that playlist. As you complete events in the playlist, more side activities will become available.

After completing at least 6 playlists in phase one of your trophy journey, you should have unlocked more than enough Feats for what you need to do here. However, if you find you need to unlock some more feats or you just want more to choose from, complete more playlists.

Feats are small challenges you can do in free roam. Things like driving through a speed trap at a certain speed, slaloming through a short track as quickly as possible, or flying through checkpoints at the right angle.

Most of them have very simple and easily achieved objectives, but as there are far more than the required 31 in the game, you’re welcome to skip any that you’re not enjoying.

Unlocked feats are also marked on your map, so you can simply mark and track them there. They look like small red triangles on your map, and these triangles will have a small green checkmark in the upper-right corner if you have already met the requirements for that feat.

Take the time to complete a cumulative total of 31 Feats from any playlists and you’ll receive the MotorFeats Madness trophy.

Phase Three | Miscellaneous Solo Cleanup

As you reach Phase Three of your The Crew Motorfest Trophy Journey, between where you are now and the rest of the game, there’s quite a bit of a grind ahead. You’ll need to grow your car collection, complete the main stage timelines, and compete a fair amount in large events. Before we get into all that, it’s good to spend some time knocking out the miscellaneous trophies.

There’s a heaping helping of them in The Crew Motorfest. Pretty much half of the trophy list consists of these more fun and less serious trophies. Along the way, you’ll need to buy a couple of new cars, compete in various events, and experience Hawaii in many unique ways. Some of these trophies are recurring tasks that we see crop up a lot not only in The Crew games but in Ubisoft games in general. For the most part, though, they’re short and sweet distractions that should provide more entertainment than frustration.

Miscellaneous Trophies

Take the Wheel

Win 5 custom events

Cumulative

First off, make sure you’ve rocked a bunch of playlists to snag the Cars, bikes, rides and good vibes trophy.

Once you’ve aced a playlist, you get the option to replay its events in custom mode. Just head over to the start point of any event from a playlist you’ve already completed. Hit the button to pull up the event setup menu. In “Event Settings,” switch the mode from “Playlist” to “Custom”.

This lets you pick any ride you want for the event (you can still use the rental loaner). Oh, and don’t forget to dial down the AI difficulty to 1/5 in the options – makes winning a breeze.

Now, just start the event and win it. Do this for 5 different events or the same one 5 times (pressing at race-end to retry immediately), and boom – you’ll unlock that trophy.

Leagues Above

Complete 5 events in Main Stage Mode

Cumulative

For the “Leagues Above” Trophy, you’ll first need to have completed at least 3 playlists, which will unlock the main stage mode. Then, head back to an event you’ve already conquered and hit on the event setup menu.

In “Event Settings,” switch the mode from “Playlist” to “Main Stage.” This tweak means you’ll have to take on the event with a vehicle themed around the current weekly Main Stage theme.

This option isn’t available for every event, however. Another way to access Main Stage events is by going to the Activities tab in the menu. From there, look for a Main Stage Card at the top of the UI and open it.

Go down to the bottom of this page and you’ll see a “Play Events” option in the lower-left corner. Select it and you’ll be returned to the game. You’ll now be tracking a new event, though. This event will have a Main Stage option.

Ensuring the event is in Main Stage mode, begin it and then play it to completion.

Finish a cumulative total of 5 events in Main Stage mode (it’s cool if it’s the same event repeated), and you’ll unlock the trophy.

In The Crew Motorfest, you can fast travel under certain conditions. The earliest and easiest way to Fast Travel is via the Activities menu. Here’s how:

First, start any Playlist. To start a playlist, you need to drive to its starting point on the map, which makes it active.

Next, open the menu, then press again to open the side-bar. Go down to “Activities” and open that menu.

Within, you will see that your Active Playlist has several notches under it, each one representing one of the events in that Playlist.

Press on the playlist to open it, then press to Fast Travel to the playlist’s starting point.

Upon arrival at your destination, the Blink and You’ll Miss it Trophy will unlock!

You can fast-travel to specific events if you complete 10 full Playlists.

Madcap

Chain a 15 actions combo with Dynamic Freestyle

Non-Cumulative

While driving around in free-roam, you will be able to perform various actions to rack up a freestyle action combo. Freestyle actions include things like drifting, getting air-time, near-missing cars in traffic, and driving on the oncoming lane. You can also perform freestyle actions in a Boat or a Plane.

To unlock the “Madcap” trophy, you just need to string together a combination of 15 different freestyle actions. You can even use to quickly switch between vehicles and keep the combo going between vehicles. So, you could rack up some low-altitude, air drift, and nosedive actions in a plane, then switch to a vehicle to throw out a few moves to cap things off.

However you choose to do it, the trophy isn’t too difficult, and if you explore a lot you’ll likely even unlock it naturally.

Luck is part of talent

Find and open a Treasure

Not long into your playthrough, you will unlock a Treasure Radar feature. Once unlocked, if you’re near a Treasure, your minimap will begin pulsing and you’ll hear a pinging sound, indicating that a treasure is nearby.

Treasures are found in the form of these Live Boxes, similar to the ones in The Crew 2. The closer you are to one, the faster the treasure radar will ping.

When you are very close to a Treasure, the pinging is very rapid and your minimap has a red and yellow stroke racing around its circumference. Look for the treasure nearby and then hold to claim it once you see the prompt.

You’ll receive an in-game item and—when opening one for the first time—the “Luck is part of talent” Trophy.

Parade lap

Travel 40 Kilometers (25 miles) anywhere in Hawaii

To unlock the “Parade lap” trophy, you need to drive a cumulative total of 40 kilometers in a single gameplay session (as in; without closing the game).

This is quite a short distance and will only require you to play continuously for around an hour before it unlocks.

Oahu Sights

Take 3 photos in the same session

You will most likely unlock the Oahu Sights trophy naturally while working on the A e s t h e t i c Trophy. If not, however, you can take a photo by opening Photo Mode with and then pressing to take a snapshot.

Repeat this three times in the same session to unlock Oahu Sights.

Pele Shout-out

Reach the summit of the volcano with a ground vehicle.

At the very top of the volcano in the Mauna Pele region, there’s a huge crater called the Mauna Pele Nunui Crater, clearly marked on the map.

To unlock Pele Shout-out, you just need to drive a car or motorbike in this crater. You could drive all the way up the side of the mountain to do this, but it’s much easier to just fly up there using a plane and then switch to a vehicle while flying over the mountain. You should earn the trophy long before you hit the ground.

English bunt

Fly under 5 differents bridges in the same session

First things first, you’ll naturally need a plane for this trophy, so make sure you’ve got one. If you don’t, remember that you can acquire a free one from the “Hawaii Scenic Tour” playlist.

Once you’ve got your wings, switch to your plane in free roam and get ready for some bridge action. A perfect spot for this is the Kuapa River, just east of the Motorfest Grounds, next to the “Hawaii Kai” text on the map.

Cruise along this river and you’ll find more than 5 bridges to fly under in no time. Enjoy the ride!

Local Luxuries

Stay still for 1 minute on the beach in front of the Royal Hawaiian Hotel

You’ll find the Royal Hawaiian Hotel chilling on the south coast of Honolulu, and on your map, it’s labeled as “Royal Luau”.

Just cruise down to the beach south of this hotel, find a nice spot to park, and hang out there for a minute without moving. Stay put, and voilà! You’ll unlock “Local Luxuries.”

Ensnare the Sun

Fly as high as possible.

Once you have any plane, simply angle it upward and hold to continue climbing to higher altitudes. Eventually, when you hit the height limit, the “Ensnare the Sun” trophy will unlock.

Try not to fly at too steep of an angle or your plane could stall.

You can get a free plane from the “Hawaii Scenic Tour” playlist if you don’t have one yet.

French Toast

Perform a donut move in the Ubisoft logo

You can find the Ubisoft logo here on the map, just below the “Central” text. At night it is easier to see thanks to the lights on it:

Place a marker there and drive/fly to the location. To unlock this trophy, you’ll need to perform a donut on this ubisoft-logo-shaped-dirt-course.

To do so, come to a complete stop. Then, press and hold both + together. While you’re doing that, pick a direction and turn using . Your car will start spinning in place. Hang tight for a bit, and soon you’ll see the action text “donut” pop up next to your car. And just like that, you’ve earned yourself the “French Toast” trophy!

Dai-go-go-go!

Win by completing the event without hitting a wall, or track limits, driving in Ebisu Style

First, tackle the “Made in Japan” playlist to access the Ebisu Style event. Once you’ve played through the playlist, revisit Ebisu Style for your trophy attempt.

This event is a drift trial where the objective is to beat a set target score. Lowering the AI difficulty to 1/5 significantly lowers this score, making the trophy more achievable.

Avoid wall touches and stay on track as much as possible. The best strategy is to drive slowly and carefully, only taking the risk to pull off a drift when you’re on the wider ends of the track.

Do the bare minimum to achieve 5,000 score without hitting a wall or going off-track, and you’ll unlock the “Dai-go-go-go!” trophy.

Smooth sea ≠ skilled sailor

Complete a Speedtrap instance with a boat

Start off by making sure you’ve completed a bunch of playlists. Each playlist you complete unlocks not just race events, but also the “feats” associated with them. See MotorFeats Madness for more information on Feats.

For this trophy, you will specifically want to look for Speed Trap feats. These are basically just gates that you need to drive through at a high speed.

You’ll also need a fast car. Hypercars, Dragsters, or Alpha GPs are ideal. The “Electric Odyssey” playlist awards a free hypercar, but for Drag or Alpha GP cars, you’ll have to hit the shop.

To get this trophy, you need to complete a Speed Trap Feat with a boat (get a free one from “Hawaii Scenic Tour” if needed), beating the target speed. To do so, approach a Speed Trap in your fastest car, then switch to your boat using fast fav just before entering the trap. You’re essentially trying to slingshot the boat through the gate using physics alone.

This trophy is tough and you will undoubtedly need several attempts. You can try Speed Traps with lower target speeds or with longer straights. If you’re struggling to get a good one, try completing more playlists to increase the pool of available Speed Trap Feats.

If you successfully launch a boat through a Speed Trap fast enough to meet its requirements, the “Smooth sea ≠ skilled sailor” trophy is all yours.

Sweet tooth

Fly through the "Rule the Streets" inflatable donut with a plane

In the air over Mccully-Moiliili, directly above the “RULE THE STREETS presented by Donut Media” playlist container, there is a huge inflatable donut. To unlock the Sweet Tooth Trophy, you simply need to fly a plane through this donut.

There’s a Speed Trap Feat inside this donut which requires you to fly through it at 210km/h, which unlocks as part of the RULE THE STREETS playlist.

If you don’t have a plane yet, you can get one for free from the Hawaii Scenic Tour Playlist.

Shaken, not stirred

Equip your avatar with the casual tuxedo and drive an Aston martin car

Before you can unlock the Shaken Not Stirred Trophy, you need two things:

Firstly, you’ll want to acquire the Tuxedo:

  • Open the pause menu with
  • Select “Driver”
  • Select “Avatar Customization”
  • Press to switch to “Clothes”
  • Look for the Casual Tuxedo in the “Suit” section at the bottom of the clothes menu.
  • Purchase it for $21,000

Secondly, you will need to purchase an Aston Martin. If you imported your cars from The Crew 2, there’s a good chance you’ll own one. If not, however, do the following:

  • Open the pause menu with
  • Press to open the sidebar
  • Select “Shop”
  • Select “Vehicle Catalogue”
  • Go down to the “Aston Martin” section
  • Purchase any one of the five vehicles available here

Once you have a tux and an Aston Martin; equip the tux and then select to drive your Aston Martin. The “Shaken not Stirred” trophy will unlock before your car’s even loaded in.

Kāne Limits

Try to leave Hawaii (boat or plane) by reaching the limit of the map

Kāne Limits is a very easy trophy to earn. You will just need a plane or a boat first. There’s three ways to acquire these:

  • Buy them from the Shop tab ( > > Shop)
  • Import them from The Crew 2
  • Complete the “Hawaii Scenic Tour” Playlist to get a free vehicle of each type.

Once you have either a plane or a boat, set your sights for anywhere but Hawaii. Put Hawaii in your rearview mirror and sail/fly as far away as you can.

You’ll inevitably come to the outermost bounds of the map, where the trophy will unlock.

...we don’t need roads

Reach 88 MPH (142 Km/h) with the Delorean DMC-12 and use the rewind feature

If you completed The Crew 2 and imported your cars, there’s a very strong chance you’ll have the “Rad Edition” Delorean DMC-12.

You can use that car for this trophy, or you can buy a normal Delorean DMC-12 from the Shop:

  • Open the pause menu with
  • Press to open the sidebar
  • Select “Shop”
  • Select “Vehicle Catalogue”
  • Go down to the “Delorean” section
  • Purchase a Delorean DMC-12

Once you have a Delorean, drive it up to (and a little bit over) 88 MPH (142Km/h) and then, once you’re up to speed, hold to use the rewind feature. Upon doing so, the “…we don’t need roads” trophy will unlock!

Mistakes were made…

Use up the rewind feature fully 1 time

Non-Cumulative

The Crew Motorfest introduces a rewind feature new to the “The Crew” series. To activate it, you can hold at any time to rewind a few seconds into the past. This is a great way to correct after a big crash in a high-stakes race.

To unlock the “Mistakes were made” trophy, you need to use up the rewind gauge for the first time. That is to say, you would need to hold until the gauge at the bottom of your screen gets fully depleted, and the game stops rewinding on its own.

Unholy Pizza

Perform a donut move around the pineapple shop

Misleading Description

You can find the Pineapple Shop on the map, north of Wahiawa, next to the “Bike Lovers” Playlist starting point.

Place a marker there and drive/fly to the location. To unlock this trophy, you’ll need to perform a donut next to the Pineapple Shop. The description suggests you need to draw a circle around the Pineapple Shop, but you actually just need to be next to it.

To do a Donut, come to a complete stop next to the shop. Then, press and hold both + together. While you’re doing that, pick a direction and turn using . Your car will start spinning in place. Hang tight for a bit, and soon you’ll see the action text “donut” pop up next to your car. And just like that, you’ve earned yourself the “Unholy Pizza” trophy!

Where's down?

Chain two bike backflips while in the air and use fast fav with a plane, before reaching the ground.

Before you can work on the “Where’s down? ” trophy, you must have a Motocross Bike. To purchase one:

  • Press to open the pause menu
  • Press to open the sidebar
  • Select the Shop
  • Select Vehicle Catalogue
  • Press to open the filters
  • Select “Vehicle Category”
  • Select “Motocross”

This will filter the vehicle catalogue down to just motocross vehicles. Pick out any bike you like and purchase it.

For the next part of the trophy, you will need to find a decent ramp for getting some air. There’s a perfect stone ramp here at Peacock Flats in northwest Hawaii:

Drive your new Motocross bike to this ramp, boost off it as fast as you can, and then begin pulling down to backflip while holding to backflip faster.

Keep held down until you have successfully done two backflips and then, as quickly as you can, press followed by to switch to a plane via fast fav.

If you’re quick enough, you should be able to pull up and fly away before even touching the ground.

If you do, you’ll receive the trophy.

Phase Four | Online Trophies

There are a fair few trophies in The Crew 2 which involve playing online in various capacities.

Many of them simply involve playing online game modes, but you will be expected to procure some friends for the Online Co-op trophies, particularly the irksome The Crew too! Trophy.

In this fourth phase of your The Crew Motorfest trophy journey, we’re going to focus on all of these online trophies and get them out of the way.

Online PVP Trophies

Grand Ambitions

Participate in a Grand Race event

Online

Online Multiplayer

Grand Race is a live PvP mode you can access by hitting twice to reach the “Activities” tab, and selecting the tile with the Grand Race icon under “Live Competition.”

You’ll enter a lobby and pick your vehicles when enough players join. These races, lasting about 8 minutes with up to 28 players, will have you switch between three different vehicle types throughout the course.

Don’t worry about your own vehicles; all vehicles come with top-notch performance parts, and the game even loans cars for categories you don’t own. The race location and vehicle categories change every 30 minutes.

Just participating in one Grand Race event will earn you the Grand Ambitions trophy, you don’t need to win or anything.

Try to overtake as many drivers as you can for Rear view mirror smile, though.

Rear view mirror smile

Overtake 12 players in the Grand Race

Online

Online Multiplayer

The Rear view mirror smile trophy involves the Grand Race PVP mode (see Grand Ambitions .)

You simply need to overtake a cumulative total of 12 cars in this game mode. This is likely to happen in your first Grand Race, as there’s usually a bit of a kerfuffle at the start of a Grand Race in which racers chaotically overtake each other.

If you overtake a car, but it then overtakes you, and you then overtake it again; that would count as 2 overtakes.

I've got a crash on you

Participate in a Demolition Royale event

Online

Online Multiplayer

Destruction Royale is a live PvP mode you can access by hitting twice to reach the “Activities” tab, and selecting the tile with the Demolition Royale icon under “Live Competition.”

You’ll enter a lobby and pick your vehicles when enough players join.

Demolition Royale is a team-based Demolition Derby event where teams compete to damage and destroy each other’s vehicles. There are various Battle Royale style gimmicks to this game mode, which you’ll discover as you dive in for the first time.

Just participating in one Demolition Royale event will earn you the “I’ve got a crash on you” trophy, you don’t need to win or anything.

Try to destroy at least three vehicles in this game mode for That’ll Buff Right Out. You’ll also need to try and activate the Monster Truck powerup twice within a single Demolition Royale event for Doghouse Days.

That'll Buff Right Out

Destroy 3 vehicles in Demolition Royale

Challenging

Online

Online Multiplayer

Skill Based

Cumulative

The “That’ll Buff Right Out” trophy concerns the Demolition Royale Game Mode (see I’ve got a crash on you).

In this game mode, you team up with other players to take out opposing teams of players.

Dealing damage to other players will build up your Ultimate gauge. When it’s full, you can activate it to turn into a Monster Truck, which takes opponents out much quicker than a typical car.

Once you have destroyed a total of 3 vehicles in a single match you will unlock That’ll Buff Right Out.

This is obviously quite a difficult feat, and it may take more than a few attempts to pull off. That said, it’s not so bad. The experience you gain from replaying this event will help you progress the Main Stage Headliner trophy.

Doghouse Days

Transform into a monster truck twice in a single game of demolition royale

Non-Cumulative

The “Doghouse Days ” trophy concerns the Demolition Royale Game Mode (see I’ve got a crash on you).

In this game mode, you team up with other players to take out opposing teams of players.

Dealing damage to other players will build up your Ultimate gauge. When it’s full, you can activate it to turn into a Monster Truck, which takes opponents out much quicker than a typical car.

You will need to activate that Monster Truck power-up twice in the same match to unlock Doghouse Days. It can be a bit tricky, so if you keep struggling to survive try focusing on collecting yellow Ultimate Power-ups to fill the gauge instead of attacking opponents directly.

Online Crew Trophies

Pack Mentality

Join, or form a Crew

Online

Online Co-op

To unlock the “Pack Mentality” trophy, you will need to either invite an online player to your crew, or join theirs. In The Crew Motorfest, your “Crew” is your current temporary party of friends, and is not something larger like a Guild or a Clan.

Open your menu with and then press to open Crew Management. Within here, you will see all of your online friends as well as people in the same lobby as you. Select any of these players and press to invite them to your Crew.

Once any other player joins your Crew, you will unlock the trophy. Alternatively, have someone invite you to their crew, and you will unlock the trophy all the same once you’ve joined their Crew.

The Crew too!

Complete a custom event with a Crew of 4 players

Online

Online Co-op

The “The Crew Too!” trophy is a bit of a pain. If it weren’t for this one, the whole trophy journey would be a breeze. Sadly, developers continue to sour their trophy lists with forced social trophies like this.

It is actually super easy if you have 3 friends with their own PlayStation consoles and their own copies of The crew Motorfest. In that event, you can just invite them all to your crew (see Pack mentality), forming a party of 4, and then go out and complete a custom race event (See Take the Wheel) together to earn the trophy.

However, if you are even just one friend short, you’ll either have to:

  • Set up a play session with other gamers on a forum, social media, or the comments below this guide.

OR

  • Invite random players in your lobby, hoping that they all join your crew and are happy to patiently wait with you until you have a full party of 4. The problem with this solution is mostly that you’ll struggle to find players who are willing to then complete an event with you, and they tend to leave early if they aren’t winning!

So yeah, not great options. I wish you luck whichever route you choose. Once you do have a party of 4, just set up a Custom Race and then complete that event with a full Crew of 4, and without anyone leaving early.

Look at us go

Drive or Fly 5 Km in formation with a Crew member, in the same session

Online

Online Co-op

To unlock “Look at us go” you will need to first form or join a Crew. See Pack mentality.

Once you have at least one other player in your crew, the two of you simply need to drive or fly, in formation.

To drive or fly in Formation with another player, you just need to drive or fly near them. This can be to the side, or directly behind. Once you are in formation, a Formation indicator will appear behind your vehicle.

Now you will need to continue on for a cumulative total of 5 Kilometers. You can break formation, but you cannot disband your crew or leave the game. If you do that, the tracker will reset and you’ll have to start this trophy again from scratch.

Summit & Custom Show Trophies

The Ascent

Complete a Summit Contest event

Online

Summit contests are special live events that change each week. They feature leaderboards in which you can compete against real players, but you don’t need to physically compete with them in the actual events.

You can access this week’s Summit events by going into your menu, opening the sidebar with , and then selecting Activities. In there, under “Live Competition” you should see a tile with the “Summit Contest” icon on it.

Select it to be taken to a 3×3 grid of 9 activities. Some of them will require a specific vehicle before you can start them. Three of them will be feats placed somewhere on the map for you to complete.

To unlock the “The Ascent” trophy, you will need to complete any one of the activities on this grid. It can be one of the races or even a feat if you prefer.

Note that you will need to complete all 9 events if you want the gold Not so lonely at the top trophy.

Not so lonely at the top

Complete all activities of a Summit Contest

Online

“Not so lonely at the top” concerns the “The Summit Contest” live activity. See The Ascent for more details.

You will need to complete all 9 of the events in the current Summit Contest. If the Summit Contest expires, you’ll have 9 more events to tackle and will need to start from scratch.

Many of the events in a Summit Contest will require you to purchase a vehicle to access them, but you can find convenient bundles in the Shop that offer all required vehicles in one pack.

Steal the show

Submit 1 vehicle to the Custom show

Online

“Custom Show” is a kind of show-and-tell session with other players where you get to show off your customizations and vote on those of other players.

To access Custom Show, press twice to bring up the sidebar menu, then select “Activities.”

Under “Live Competition” you should see the Custom Show tile on the far right. Press on it to be teleported to the Custom Show meet.

You will be teleported in front of your own Custom Show plinth, where you can register a car to display. Press the on-screen prompt to do so and then select a car.

Once you’ve put a car on display, the “Steal the Show” trophy will unlock.

You cannot put a car on display if you haven’t customized it or if you have used a livery designed by another player.

Everyone is a critic

Vote for 5 cars in the Custom show

Online

To begin with, teleport to the Custom Show via the Activities menu. See Steal the show for more info.

Once there, you’ll be able to explore a show space filled with cars customized by other players.

When you approach a car, you’ll see the prompt to “vote.” Pressing it submits a vote for that car to win the Custom Show.

Walk around this space and submit a vote for at least 5 cars. Upon your fifth vote submission, you will unlock the “Everyone is a critic” trophy.

Oahu Mindfulness

Stay in a Car meet car for 10 seconds or more

Online

The Oahu Mindfulness Trophy asks that you sit in a “Car Meet” car for 10 seconds. However, the “Car Meet” is the in-game name for the hub area and is not relevant to this trophy at all.

Instead, to unlock the trophy, you need to head to a “Custom Show” event. See Steal the Show for more details.

Walk up to any vehicle and look at the driver side door while holding . A prompt will appear on-screen.

Press once to open the door, and then again to enter the driver seat.

Now, simply sit and wait. Stay completely still for at least 10 seconds and you’ll receive the Oahu Mindfulness Trophy.

Phase Five | Endgame Grind

There should just be a handful of trophies left at this point in your The Crew Motorfest Trophy Journey, most of which you will have made decent progress towards.

This last stretch to the Platinum Trophy includes a few time-consuming tasks including; building a diverse collection of 30 cars, saving up the money to do so (and to drop a millie in one transaction), and literally just spending 24 cumulative hours in-game.

Various aspects of this phase will be dramatically expedited by importing cars from The Crew 2, naturally.

Trophies in this phase:

Car Collection Trophies

Passion Project

Spend 1 Million Bucks

Save up at least one million dollars in-game and then Open the menu. Press again to open the sidebar menu then go Shop > Vehicle Catalogue. In here, look for a car worth at least one mission dollars and purchase it to acquire the Passion Project trophy!

A million dollars is a lot of money, but after completing 6 playlists and several side activities you should have around 2-3 million racked up.

Gearhead vs Collector

Own 30 Vehicles

Collectible

If you have enough vehicles in The Crew 2, it’s possible to unlock this trophy by simply importing them into The Crew Motorfest.

The Crew Motorfest features over 600 vehicles to collect and own. To unlock Gearhead vs Collector, you need only acquire a cumulative total of 30 vehicles.

To purchase vehicles you can:

  • Open the pause menu with
  • Press to open the sidebar
  • Select “Shop”
  • Select “Vehicle Catalogue” to browse by brand

Once you have purchased, imported, or otherwise unlocked a cumulative total of 30 vehicles, the trophy will unlock immediately.

Try to make sure that you own at least one of 10 different categories of vehicle while you do this, which is important for the Buitl Different Trophy.

Built Different

Own a vehicle in 10 different vehicle categories

If you have enough vehicles in The Crew 2, it’s possible to unlock this trophy by simply importing them into The Crew Motorfest.

In The Crew Motorfest, there are 14 different vehicle categories. They are as follows:

  1. Street Tier 1
  2. Street Tier 2
  3. Drift
  4. Racing
  5. Dragster
  6. Hypercar
  7. Alpha GP
  8. Motocross
  9. Rally Raid
  10. Demolition
  11. Rally
  12. Monster
  13. Powerboat
  14. Plane

To unlock the “Built Different” trophy, you will need at least one vehicle within at least 10 of those 14 categories. When purchasing vehicles for Gearhead Vs Collector, keep this in mind and try to purchase an array of different vehicle types.

Fan Favorite

Reach maximum level on one vehicle

Each vehicle you acquire will have a Performance level, and then a maximum performance level that that vehicle can achieve.

You can increase your vehicle’s performance level by highlighting it in your Vehicles menu, selecting it with , and then selecting “Upgrade.” You will see all of your acquired performance upgrade parts in this menu. You should have acquired a lot of parts as event rewards so far in your trophy journey, plenty to upgrade at least one of your vehicles from its stock performance level to it’s maximum.

It’s easier to achieve this trophy on vehicles in the “Street” category because; A) You will have unlocked more Street parts than any other category and; B) Street vehicles have a lower max performance level of 600.

Custo-Mine

Fully customize one vehicle (Visual parts and Livery)

To unlock the “Custo-Mine” trophy, first open the menu, then select “Vehicles.” From your collection, highlight any vehicle that is not pre-customised for an event (like the Hawaii Scenic Tour Ford Bronco or the Ryujin Edition Supra).

Press on it and then again on “Customize.”

From there, select “Visual Part” and change every part of the car.

There are several options that you can customize, and you can cycle through them with and . You will need to make a change in every single category.

Next, select “Livery.” You can either create your own or select one of the available/downloadable premade liveries.

Once done, back out of the customization menu and the “Custo-Mine” trophy will unlock. If it doesn’t, use a different car or change more visual parts.

Career Progress Trophies

Walk of Fame

Become a Motorfest Legend for the first time

The Walk of Fame trophy is a stepping-stone on the journey to unlock Main Stage Headliner and you will acquire it naturally on your way up the Main Stage ranks.

Main Stage Headliner

Complete all three timelines on the Motorfest Main Stage

Grind

I recommend that this be one of the very last trophies you attempt to unlock, just because almost everything else you do in your trophy journey will affect your progress toward it.

After completing three playlists, you will get access to a feature called “Main Stage” in the “Activities” menu.

Access it through > > Activities > Main Stage. Here, you’ll find three levels: Revisit Playlist Experience (Blue), Compete Against Drivers (Orange), and Explore Island Secrets (Green).

Once you’ve achieved Level 4 in all three categories of the Main stage, you will receive the Main Stage Headliner Trophy.

Festival Fanfare

Reach Level 15

Grind

Misleading Description

The “Festival Fanfare” trophy used to be much more difficult to earn as you’d have to conclude a season and then return for your season rewards, at which point you’d then earn the trophy.

Now, however, things are a bit more vague and it’s hard to tell what “Level” is being referred to here. As far as I could tell there isn’t even any way to see what your current level is, and I’m unsure if that was ever a feature or if there’s just something temporarily different about the game.

What I can tell you, however, is that achieving Level 4 in all three Main Stage categories is more than enough to achieve this mythical 15th level. You will naturally unlock the Festival Fanfare trophy while you work on unlocking Main Stage Headliner.

Miscellaneous Grind Trophies

That Pono feeling

Spend 24 Hours in The Crew Motorfest

Grind

There’s a pretty good chance that this will be the last trophy you need. 24 hours of total gameplay isn’t much to a Trophy Hunter, but when you’ve run out of trophies to unlock, it’s a bit of a chore.

If you didn’t import your cars from The Crew 2, then you might unlock the “That Pono feeling” trophy while farming all the money you need to build your collection.

If you did, however, you’ve probably run out of things to do entirely. All there’s left to do, however, is keep playing. Whatever works for you. If you enjoy free play, drive around the island for several hours. If you liked Demolition Royale; play that for the next eternity. Whatever gets you through.
