Trophy Guide
Nexomon Trophy Guide and Road Map for PlayStation 4 & PlayStation 5
Welcome to our Nexomon Trophy Guide. Nexomon is a blatant and shameless Pokemon clone originally released on mobile. Though not as good as the more polished Nexomon: Extinction, the original Nexomon–goofy creature designs and all–is a great alternative to Pokemon for those who would prefer something for their non-Nintendo Gaming System.
Nexomon Trophy Guide – Before You Begin
Type Advantages
Just like Pokemon, Nexomon creatures have elemental affinity and attacks, making their attacks deal more or less damage depending on the element of their attack as well as the element of the opposing creature. To succeed in most battles you should always aim to use an attack which is going to deal the most possible damage based on type matchups.
You will get a good feel for these matchups as time goes on, but to help kickstart your understanding, I have put together a table below.
The left column indicates the attack type, and the top row indicates the opponent type it is being used on.

Phase One – Complete the Story & Netherworld Post-Game
In this initial phase of our Nexomon Trophy Guide, your main focus will be completing all of the story content. The story isn’t difficult in any way, just work your way through each area, meeting with NPCs as you go.
You should pay close attention to the dialogue, though, as it will be your only indicator as to what to do/where to go next. There’s no objective marker, map, or quest menu to help you out.
If you wish to have an easier post-game cleanup, you should try to catch as many Nexomon as possible during your journey. We have a full Nexomon Location Guide available which will let you know the approximate spawn area of each Nexomon, so you know what Nexomon you can find nearby as you work your way through the story.
You should never avoid a fight with another tamer, as there is a trophy for defeating every tamer and if you start avoiding them then clean-up on this trophy will be a pain.
Once you beat the main campaign and unlock Become the Nexolord, you will be sent back to the main menu. From there, when you continue, you’ll be thrust into a post-game story that was originally expansion content. You’ll complete this additional campaign during this phase too.
During this expansion content, keep your eye out for Nexomite crystals. There are 41 to find but they are mostly visible in plain sight as long as you make an effort to check every side path too (they’re always very short, one to two screens at most). Just make sure you grab as many as possible as you progress through the post-game so that you can unlock the Collect all Nexomite Fragments trophy easier.
Story Trophies
Nexomon Tamer
Get your very first Nexomon. Now go and save the world, champ!
A few minutes into the game, you will help your friend outside your home and eventually end up selecting one of seven Nexomon from a Nexomon Container.
All of these Nexomon can be caught later so don’t put too much pressure on the choice, but this will be your first Nexomon and will likely stay in your team for a while. Once you’ve made the selection, the Nexomon Trainer trophy will unlock.
First Battle
Win your first Nexomon battle.
Immediately after collecting your first Nexomon and earning the Nexomon Trainer trophy, you’ll be thrust into battle. Defeat your opponent by using your new Nexomon’s abilities and the First Battle trophy will unlock.
First Capture
Catch your very first Nexomon.
Shortly after completing your first Nexomon Battle and unlocking First Battle, you’ll need to follow Atlas out of your hometown, where he will teach you how to catch more Nexomon to add to your party. By completing this tutorial, you will unlock the First Capture trophy.
First Tamer Battle
Win your first tamer battle.
Your first Tamer battle is different from your first Battle in that it happens with a proper Nexomon Tamer rather than one of the villains. It will occur unavoidably when you cross the bridge on your way to Parum Town, straight into the path of a Tamer looking to fight.
Overseer Ivan
Defeat Overseer Ivan. That’s hardly an accomplishment, though…
Overseers are the Nexomon version of Pokemon’s Gym Leaders. You’ll fight and defeat many of them on your journey but the first will be Ivan, in Parum Town. Reach and defeat him to unlock the Overseer Ivan trophy.
His Nexomon are all around level 7, so you will want to match that before facing him.
Overseer Remus
Defeat Overseer Remus, a man who knows no fear!
Remus is the second Overseer in the game, he’s found in the Mountain Village and his Nexomon are all around level 13. Reach the Mountain Village and follow the story here until you enter combat with Remus. Defeat him and the Overseer Remus trophy is yours.
Overseer Ira
Defeat Overseer Ira, the fire rocker.
You will meet Overseer Ira in Ignitia as part of the story. Her Nexomon are around level 18. Progress the story to reach Ignitia and then help Ron with a small quest to then be able to access and fight Ira. Defeat her in a Nexomon battle and the trophy is yours.
Champion Nadine
Defeat Nadine, the sky menace.
Champion Nadine will attack you as part of the story in the Hidden Village. Defeat her in battle and the Champion Nadine trophy will unlock.
Overseer Hilda
Defeat Overseer Hilda, master of the paranormal.
Overseer Hilda is the fifth Overseer you meet throughout the story, but is the fourth one you fight. She’s found in the Phantom Citadel Town and to reach her you will need to pass through her Maze. Reach and defeat her to unlock this trophy.
Volleyball Champion
Defeat Merida in a volleyball match! Easiest win ever.
When you get to Palmaya for the story, you will find that it is locked down and you need to find a suspicious individual, Merida. Eventually the story will lead you to finding her at Palmaya’s Southern Coast.
She will challenge you to a volleyball match. You’ll need to return the balls she spikes towards you by pressing when the arrow at the top of the screen is in the green area.
Don’t worry, this trophy is not missable, if you lose the volleyball match you’ll just respawn on the last screen and be able to challenge her again.
Keep trying until you earn three points and win the match overall. The Volleyball Champion trophy will then unlock.
Overseer Hendrick
Wasn’t it obvious?
You will need to find Overseer Hendrick at his restaurant in Palmaya after beating Merida at volleyball. Find and defeat him to unlock this trophy.
Champion Merida
Defeat Merida, the terror of the ocean.
Merida will show up again while you are traveling from Royalle City to Solus Desert. She will challenge you to a Nexomon battle and by defeating her you will unlock this trophy.
Champion Grunda
Defeat Grunda, the underground beast.
Unsurprisingly, you will meet Grunda in Grunda’s Chamber within Solus City. Reach and defeat him in a Nexomon battle and this trophy will unlock.
Overseer Glacia
Defeat Overseer Glacia, the jealous one.
OVerseer Glacia is found in the Frozen Tundra, you will face her there to gain access to the Nexomon Tower. Reach and defeat her in battle to unlock this trophy.
Champion Fenrir
Defeat Fenrir, the embodiment of pride.
Though you will butt heads with Fenrir multiple times throughout the game, you will not earn this trophy until you are in the Nexomon Tower at the end of the game.
Reach the Nexomon Tower and defeat Fenrir in combat there to unlock this trophy.
Champion Zetta
Defeat Zetta, the raging thunder.
You will face off against Zetta in the Nexomon Tower shortly after earning the Champion Fenrir trophy. Defeat Zetta in combat to unlock this trophy.
Omnicron
Defeat Omnicron in the ultimate battle.
Reach the top of Nexomon Tower and fight Omnicron to finish the main story of the game and the Omnicron trophy will unlock.
Become the Nexolord
Battle Omnicron and become the new Nexolord!
After unlocking Omnicron, watch the credits, and the Become the Nexolord trophy will unlock at the end.
Enter the Netherworld
Enter the mysterious Netherworld and complete your mission.
When you load the game after finishing the main story, you will be given a new post-game objective. Head into the basement of your house and speak to the NPCs there. Follow the dialogue until you are eventually sent to the Netherworld, at which point this trophy will unlock.
Defeat Darine
Defeat the Warden of Water, Darine.
Darine is the first of the wardens that you will fight as part of the story during the Netherworld post-game campaign. Defeat them to unlock this trophy.
Defeat Ogoon
Defeat the Warden of Fire, Ogoon.
After defeating Darine, you can choose which “nightmare” portal to enter. Find Ogoon, Warden of Fire, in Fenrir’s portal and defeat them in battle to unlock this trophy.
You should do this one first as you will get an ability within this nightmare that will allow you to fully explore the other nightmares. Without it, you will struggle to find all Nexomite Fragments without backtracking.
Defeat Titan
Defeat the Warden of Mineral, Titan.
After defeating Darine, you can choose which “nightmare” portal to enter. Find Titan, Warden of Mineral, in Grunda’s portal and defeat them in battle to unlock this trophy.
Defeat Krowr
Defeat the Warden of Thunder, Krowr.
After defeating Darine, you can choose which “nightmare” portal to enter. Find Krowr, Warden of Thunder, in Zetta’s portal and defeat them in battle to unlock this trophy.
Defeat Hexia
Defeat the Warden of Wind, Hexia.
After defeating Darine, you can choose which “nightmare” portal to enter. Find Hexia, Warden of Wind, in Fenrir’s portal and defeat them in battle to unlock this trophy.
Destroy Omnicron (For Real)
Defeat Omnicron (again) and save the world (again). Congratulations!
After unlocking Enter the Netherworld, follow the post-game story until its eventual penultimate fight with Omnicron. Defeat him again and this trophy is yours.
Phase Two – Collect all Nexomon
Now that you’re done with the story, you should start thinking about collecting all 310 Nexomon.
During this phase of our Nexomon Trophy Guide you will need to do the following:
- Collect all 41 Nexomite Fragments in the Netherworld
- Defeat all 65 Warden Phantoms and capture the 7 Warden Legendaries (See our Nexomon Warden Phantoms Guide)
- Capture the other 9 Legendary Nexomon
- Capture/evolve the remaining 294 Nexomon (See our Nexomon Location Guide)
After doing that, you will have collected a huge chunk of the remaining trophies. I recommend you do them in the order listed above, but it’s ultimately up to you how you choose to approach this challenge.
Collect all 41 Nexomite Fragments
Collect All Nexomite Fragments
Collect all 41 Nexomon fragments and get the radar.
As explained earlier, after you beat the main campaign and unlock Become the Nexolord, you will be sent back to the main menu. From there, when you select continue, you’ll start the post-game story.
Throughout this extra content, you will be exploring the Netherworld, where Nexomite is a fairly common resource. There are 41 of these crystals to find but as long as you make an effort to check every side path, and actively keep your eye out for them, you will struggle to miss any.
One important thing to note is that during the end section of the Netherworld where you’re visiting the 5 nightmares, you should complete the fire nightmare immediately after finishing the water nightmare. This is because you’ll acquire an ability from the fire realm which will allow you to remove black flames blocking your path.
These black flames can be found in the Mineral, Wind, and Thunder nightmares and will prevent you from reaching some of the Nexomite fragments, meaning you will have to backtrack for these if you leave the fire nightmare until last.
Once you have all 41 fragments, you will need to take them to Miriam in Parum after you’ve defeated Omnicron for a second time, and she will craft the ancient radar for you, thus unlocking the Collect All Nexomon Fragments trophy.

Collect All 310 Nexomon
Collect all monsters. A true master!
Collecting all 310 Nexomon will require you to find all of the Legendary Nexomon and catch as many Wild Nexomon as possible. Many Nexomon can evolve up to two times by increasing their level through combat, so you may opt to evolve base Nexomon instead of trying to catch their evolutions separately.
Additionally, if you have a second or third evolution of a Nexomon but are struggling to capture their base form, you could try increasing them to level 50 and then taking them to the Netherworld (post-game) to be reborn. This will revert them to their original form.
If you need help locating a Nexomon you still don’t have, then you can use our Nexomon Location Guide. Open it up and then use Ctrl+F/Cmd+F to search for the name or database number of your desired Nexomon.
If you pause the game you will see a “Database” option. This is where you can keep track of your collection, you’ll see a colored Nexotrap icon next to any Nexomon you have already caught, a greyscale Nexotrap icon next to those that you have only seen, and there will be no entry for Nexomon you have neither seen nor captured.
Additionally, in the top-left corner, you will see a number out of 310, such as “150/310”, this is how many Nexomon you have successfully captured. Keep an eye on this as it increases to know how close you are getting to unlocking this trophy.
Once that number reaches 310, and you have collected every possible Nexomon, you will unlock this Collect All 310 Nexomon trophy.
Phase Three – Defeat All Tamers
After completing your Nexomon collection, I recommend you next head out to try and defeat all of the tamers in the game, provided you haven’t done so already.
Tamer Battle Trophies
Defeat 10 Tamers
Defeat 10 tamers.
Defeat your first 10 tamers to unlock this trophy. You will eventually need to have defeated every tamer to unlock the Defeat All Tamers trophy, so this will be guaranteed through that process.
Defeat 20 Tamers
Defeat 20 tamers.
Defeat your first 20 tamers to unlock this trophy. You will eventually need to have defeated every tamer to unlock the Defeat All Tamers trophy, so this will be guaranteed through that process.
Defeat All Tamers
Defeat all tamers.
Tamers that you can battle will have a speech bubble above their heads, containing two boxing gloves.
Throughout the campaign, you will have come across many tamers that you couldn’t pass without them challenging you to a battle. Additionally, in your efforts to collect all 310 Nexomon and defeat all 65 Wardens (Wardens don’t count towards this trophy), you should have visited most, if not all, of the screens in the game, meaning you will have found most of the tamers you could possibly fight, and probably don’t have that many left to find.
I suggest that you warp totem back to the beginning of the game and then make your way across the map, checking every possible area as you go.
The only Tamer that I’d say is actually hard to find is a guy hiding in an igloo in the forest west of the Frozen Tundra town. It’s the only igloo you can actually go inside so you’d never think to check in there.
Once you’ve found and defeated every Tamer, you’ll obviously unlock the Defeat All Tamers trophy.
Phase Four – Cleanup
This final phase of our Nexomon Trophy Guide is mostly here for posterity. The majority of the trophies in this phase are going to unlock naturally as you work on some of the more grindy and long-winded trophies in the earlier phases of this guide.
Nexomon Level Trophies
Level 30+
Own a level 30 or above Nexomon.
Nexomon earn experience points after each battle, which go towards increasing their level. Doing so will improve the Nexomon’s stats but can also cause them to learn new moves and evolve into much stronger Nexomon if they reach a certain threshold.
To unlock the Level 30+ trophy, you will need to reach level 30 with any Nexomon for the first time. As you would surely struggle to get through the story and the many opponents you’ll face as part of it without getting your Nexomon well above level 30, this trophy is unmissable.
Level 60+
Own a level 60 or above Nexomon.
As with the Level 30+ trophy, you will need to increase any Nexomon’s level by earning exp from battling wild Nexomon and Trainers.
The Level 60+ trophy, naturally, requires you to have any Nexomon reach level 60 for the first time through this process.
Level 99+
Own a level 99 or above Nexomon.
To unlock this trophy, as with Level 30+ and Level 60+, you should increase your Nexomon’s level to 99 by earning exp from Nexomon battles.
You actually don’t need to do this, however. There’s a much easier way to earn the trophy.
After completing the game, you’ll get a new post-game objective to head into the Netherworld. There, you will learn about rebirth; a process that resets your Nexomon’s level to 5 and restores them to their original evolution. This allows their stats to reach higher than they normally can when not reborn.
Interestingly, taking any Nexomon through the rebirth process will immediately unlock the Level 99+ trophy, allowing you to avoid the level-grind if you wish to. Note that only a Nexomon which has reached level 50 can be reborn.
Reborn Level 30+
Own a level 30 or above reborn Nexomon.
Increase a “reborn” Nexomon to level 30 by earning exp in combat and this trophy will unlock. See Reborn Level 99+ for more info about rebirth.
Reborn Level 60+
Own a level 60 or above reborn Nexomon.
Increase a “reborn” Nexomon to level 60 by earning exp in combat and this trophy will unlock. See Reborn Level 99+ for more info about rebirth.
Reborn Level 99+
Own a level 99 or above reborn Nexomon.
After entering the Netherworld for the post-game story, you will be introduced to the concept of Nexomon Rebirth, which resets the level and evolution of your Nexomon, but allows you to double their stats, making them much more powerful.
Nexomon must be at least level 50 before they can be reborn.
After putting at least one Nexomon through the process of Rebirth, you should then begin grinding exp by fighting wild Nexomon until you have increased just one Nexomon to level 99.
The best place to farm exp is within the Netherworld, because the Nexomon there are all reborn and will offer much more exp than standard Nexomon.
Cumulative Battle Trophies
This portion of our Nexomon Trophy Guide contains a selection of 5 trophies aimed at completing a grand total of 500 battles, you will earn a trophy for each increment of 100 battles. The majority of these trophies will likely unlock naturally. You will complete a lot of battles for the story, and undoubtedly complete many wild battles while catching Nexomon and level-grinding where necessary.
