My Name is Mayo 2 Trophy Guide and Road Map

Welcome to our My Name is Mayo 2 Trophy Guide. My Name is Mayo 2 is the sequel to the infamously controversial easy-platinum game My Name is Mayo.

With the sequel Green Lava went in on the existing concept of My Name is Mayo, turning up the dial on the visuals, the humour, and basically everything but the gameplay, which remains the same.

Gameplay Tips

My Name is Mayo 2 has one very simple mechanic; push . Over and over again. With each threshold of taps you reach, a new reward is unlocked. For the platinum, you’ll need to use these rewards to reach the end of several of Mayo’s storylines.

Additionally, you will want to have pressed (or ) a total of 10,000 times, which will take about an hour. You’ll find that you can do this much quicker by hitting and repeatedly at the same time.

To view the list of rewards you’ve earned through your tapping, you can press or to bring up a menu. You can navigate this menu with your floating hand, using the buttons on the left to switch between the different new storylines available. You can then use to scroll through the rewards, and see how many times you need to tap your latest reward to unlock the next one.

Phase One – Complete All Story Paths

There are a few tiers of rewards in My Name is Mayo, and each tier needs to be progressed via equipping your rewards. For example, once you have the “The world changed, but I was still made in the shade and my love life was bitchin’” reward in the “The unexpected love” storyline after 75 taps, you’ll need to select it by clicking on the icon with and and then hit the jar 50 more times to unlock the next reward in that story.

Equip that reward until the next is unlocked and then repeat this process until you reach the end of that storyline, at which point you can begin another.

Each story path’s reward has a separate tab in the / menu, allowing you to properly track your progress as well as what you still need to do.

Myself Storyline Trophies

For the following 10 trophies, you will first need to press / on the Mayo Jar 35 times to unlock the reward in the Myself tab.

Now, by tapping the jar with the Myself tab reward equipped, you’ll eventually unlock the next Myself reward. Equip it and repeat this process until you have unlocked all 10 rewards and the trophy “Lonely but homely”.

By that point, you will have all of the below trophies.

Love Storyline Trophies

For the following 10 trophies, you will first need to press / on the Mayo Jar 75 times to unlock the reward in the Love tab.

Now, by tapping the jar with Love tab reward equipped, you’ll eventually unlock the next Love reward. Equip it and repeat this process until you have unlocked all 10 rewards and the trophy “Materialism is peas and carrots”.

By that point, you will have all of the below trophies.

Dreams Storyline Trophies

For the following 10 trophies, you will first need to press / on the Mayo Jar 75 times to unlock the reward in the Dreams tab.

Now, by tapping the jar with the Dreams tab reward equipped, you’ll eventually unlock the next Dreams reward. Equip it and repeat this process until you have unlocked all 10 rewards and the trophy “REALLY Horsing around”.

By that point, you will have all of the below trophies.

Money Storyline Trophies

For the following 10 trophies, you will first need to press / on the Mayo Jar 200 times to unlock the reward in the Money tab.

With a Money reward equipped, instead of just mindless tapping, you will need to play one of a few minigames, all reminiscent of old mobile games like Doodle Jump and Flappy Bird. They all involve pressing and but this time you need to time your button presses. Regardless, for a lot of them, you can still just mash .

Fulfil the requirements listed in the Money tab of the / menu, and you’ll eventually unlock the next Money reward. Equip it and repeat this process until you have unlocked all 10 rewards and the trophy “Honest mistakes”.

By that point, you will have all of the below trophies.

Facts Storyline Trophies

For the following 10 trophies, you will first need to press / on the Mayo Jar 5 times to unlock the reward in the Dreams tab.

The Facts tab is the only tab in which you don’t need to equip your rewards to unlock the next one. All of the rewards in this tab can be unlocked passively and naturally through your other gameplay.

This set of trophies will likely be the last set you unlock, but the ultimate goal here is to just hit the jar a total of 10,000 times, nothing else. You don’t need any specific rewards equipped or anything like that, just get that counter in the top right to reach 10,000 and you’re done!

The most beautiful secret

As a given in this phase, you will naturally unlock the “The most beautiful secret” trophy for collecting all rewards. This pointless trophy will be given to you at the same time as the Platinum trophy because they’re both essentially for the same thing.

Plat Get!

Now that you have unlocked every reward and therefore trophy in the game, this controversial Platinum is all yours.
