Welcome to our My Name is Mayo Trophy Guide. My Name is Mayo is an infamous game among the Trophy-Hunting community, often brought up by elitist gate-keeping trophy hunters as a reason to disregard someone’s entire trophy collection regardless of anything else which might be in it.

Regardless, it still finds its way onto hundreds of trophy lists from hunters all across the community looking for a quick bump to their total number of Platinums.

My Name is Mayo Trophy Guide: Gameplay Tips

My Name is Mayo has one very simple mechanic; push . Over and over again. With each threshold of taps you reach, a new item of clothing or random bit of information is unlocked. For the platinum, you’ll need to use these rewards to reach the end of several of Mayo’s storylines.

Additionally, you will want to have pressed (or tapped for a more immersive experience) a grand total of 10,000 times, which will take about an hour… An hour of hitting the same button… You’ll find that you can do this much quicker by hitting and repeatedly at the same time.

To view the list of rewards you’ve earned through your tapping, you can press to bring up a menu. You can navigate this menu with or and simply hit to activate that reward.

Phase One – Complete All My Name is Mayo Story Path Trophies

There are a few tiers of rewards in My Name is Mayo, and each tier needs to be progressed via equipping your rewards. For example, once you have the Red Bikini reward after 75 taps, you’ll need to equip it and hit the jar 50 more times to unlock the next reward in that story.

Equip that reward until the next is unlocked and then repeat this process until you reach the end of that storyline, at which point you can begin another. Further details on each reward are attached to the below trophy instructions.

Each story path’s reward has the same colour in the icon background allowing you to properly track your progress through each path.

Bikini Storyline Trophies

For the following 9 trophies, you will first need to press / on the Mayo Jar 75 times to unlock the “Sometimes I just like to wear my red bikini. It makes me feel confident” cyan reward.

Now, by tapping the jar with this cyan reward equipped, you’ll eventually unlock the next cyan reward. Equip it and repeat this process until you have unlocked all 9 cyan rewards and the trophy “Elephant fun times!”

By that point, you will have all of the below trophies.

Rock Star Storyline Trophies

For the following 9 trophies, you will first need to press / on the Mayo Jar 90 times to unlock the “When I was a young girl” orange reward.

Now, by tapping the jar with this orange reward equipped, you’ll eventually unlock the next orange reward. Equip it and repeat this process until you have unlocked all 9 orange rewards and the trophy “A Mime?”

By that point, you will have all of the below trophies.

Philosophy Storyline Trophies

For the following 9 trophies, you will first need to press / on the Mayo Jar 120 times to unlock the first red “Philosophy” reward.

Tapping each philosophy reward just 10 times will unlock the next one, so you just need to continue selecting the new red Philosophy reward as soon as it is unlocked until you have all 9 Philosophy rewards and the trophy “I am Mayonnaise!”.

By that point, you will have all of the below trophies.

Amazing Story Storyline Trophies

For the following 9 trophies, you will first need to press / on the Mayo Jar 150 times to unlock the “Gather around and I’ll spin a yarn you won’t believe” yellow reward.

Now, by tapping the jar with this yellow reward equipped, you’ll eventually unlock the next yellow reward. Equip it and repeat this process until you have unlocked all 9 yellow rewards and the trophy “I’m just a mayo.”

By that point, you will have all of the below trophies.

Tapping Trophies

There are thirteen trophies related to hitting the Jar of Mayo, the end goal of which are to reach 10,000 hits. You won’t be reaching that many during this phase, but you’ll come very close to (or exceed) 5,000 hits naturally while going for the reward-related trophies above, thus the following trophies are guaranteed here:

Phase Two – The Tappening

With all the storylines complete, there’s just a few more tapping trophies to earn by continuing to hit the jar with or . You should have about 5,000 taps once done with the stories, so just 5,000 more to go!

The following trophies will be unlocked at 8,000 and 10,000 taps respectively.

What Do We Do Now?

As a given in this phase, you will naturally unlock the “What do we do now?” trophy for collecting all rewards. This trophy is a little pointless as it serves the same purpose as the Platinum, but who am I to look a gift horse in the mouth?

Now that you have unlocked every reward and therefore trophy in the game, this controversial Platinum is all yours.
