Inksplosion Trophy Guide and Road Map
Welcome to our Inksplosion Trophy Guide. Inksplosion is a wave-based bullet-hell game with an easy platinum that has a similar journey to Super Destronaut DX. In this game, you’ll need to fend off 4 enemies at a time with a weapon that changes form every wave to keep things interesting.
The unique and colourful art style can make things difficult to keep track of, especially on a large TV when your focus is centralised on a single point at any time rather than the whole screen as it might be on the Vita version.
Collecting the Platinum is simply going to require a short playthrough of each mode, and can be completed in around 30 minutes, probably even less if you’re particularly good at it.
Phase One – Inksplosion Classic Mode Trophies
Let’s begin with the Classic mode. Here, you’re going to need to try and reach a score of 100,000 points.
You will need to avoid three things; touching the enemies, touching the enemy projectiles, and touching the dashed white lines which sweep across the stage.
The more kills you rack up while avoiding being damaged, the higher your score multiplier will be, allowing you to complete this phase quicker.
Make sure you don’t just quit the game once your score reaches 100,000. Let yourself die instead to ensure that the game registers your score, thus unlocking Arena mode for phase two.

The following trophies will unlock naturally during this phase of the journey:

Getting better
Reach level 10 in Classic Mode

Reach 50,000 points in Classic Mode

Reach 75,000 points in Classic Mode

Unlock the Arena Mode
Reach 100,000 points in Classic Mode

Phase Two – Inksplosion Arena Mode Trophies
Now move on to Arena Mode. Here, you are going to need to kill 100 enemies in a single run without dying.
If I’m honest this can be a little difficult. It really depends on your setup, as I found this trophy way easier on a Vita than I did on a large TV. For those who are struggling, however, I have the following advice:
- Focus on your character while constantly firing in the general direction of enemies. Your priority should be dodging projectiles and avoiding taking damage.
- Stick to either the left or right sides of the screen, this way you avoid getting surrounded and only need to dodge projectiles coming from a single direction.
- Try to take out enemies who are closest to you first. You also want to try and prioritise the enemies who shoot pink and light blue missile projectiles, as they cause the most problems.
- Many enemies will shoot out projectiles in all directions, but if you remain calm you’ll notice that these projectiles always shoot out in the same few directions, meaning there are angles that they simply cannot hit you from. Usually, being in the same vertical position as these enemies means they can’t hit you.
With the advice above, dive into Arena Mode and begin racking up those kills!
Get 100 Kills in Arena Mode
The following trophies will unlock naturally during this phase of the journey:

Kill or get killed
Kill 25 enemies in Arena Mode

Getting used
Kill 50 enemies in Arena Mode

Without any mercy
Kill 75 enemies in Arena Mode

Kill them all
Kill 100 enemies in Arena Mode

Phase Three – Inksplosion Hard Mode Trophies
Lastly, it’s time to jump into Hard Mode. Hard Mode won’t unlock unless you have 100,000 score in Arena Mode, but by reaching 100 kills you should have earned double that or more.
Hard Mode Trophy
All you have to do now is kill one enemy in Hard Mode. The enemies in Hard Mode do take a few more shots to take down than in Classic or Arena modes, but it’s nothing excessive. You should have no trouble pulling this off before you die in this mode.

Well done
Reach 25K points in Classic Mode
