Super Destronaut DX Trophy Guide and Road Map

Welcome to our Super Destronaut DX Trophy Guide. Super Destronaut is a pretty fun re-imagining of Space Invaders which uses Challenges and different Game Modes to offer a fresh Space Invaders experience. It also happens to be a very quick Platinum you can earn in as little as 15 minutes!

To earn the platinum you’ll just need to complete 12 challenges, earn 10,000 points in Time Attack, earn 100,000 points in Classic Mode, and play Hardcore Mode for about 5 seconds.

Phase One – Time Attack

Let’s begin with Time Attack mode. All you need to do here is reach 10,000 points.

The following trophies will unlock naturally during this phase of the journey:

Reach 10K in Time Attack Mode

Phase Two – Challenge Mode

Now move on to Challenge Mode. Here, you just need to complete the first 12 challenges as there are trophies for completing 1, 3, 6, and 12 challenges respectively.

The following trophies will unlock naturally during this phase of the journey:

Persistent

Hit one of the grey enemies

Sometimes when you kill an enemy, they will leave behind a ghost, which slowly floats to the bottom of the screen. You can farm extra points off it by shooting it for 50 points per shot.

Though it is very likely you already have this trophy, during challenge mode, a couple of challenges will ask that you go out of your way to do this, thus guaranteeing the trophy.

Changing Weapons

Kill 1 special red enemy

During some waves, at the top and center of the wave there will be an orange enemy, exactly like the one in this trophy icon.

Killing one of these enemies will temporarily improve your weapon. Doing this for the first time will unlock this trophy.

Though it is very likely you already have this trophy, during Challenge Mode there are some Challenges which will require you to do this, so it is guaranteed here.

Phase Three – Super Destronaut DX Classic Mode Trophies

Next, it is time for Classic Mode. In classic mode, there are no objectives and there is no timer, you simply need to survive as long as you can while racking up score. You will have three lives.

There are trophies for reaching 25K, 50K, and finally 100K score in Classic mode, but doing so won’t require much effort and you’ll probably earn all three at once, especially after your experience in challenge mode.

Even though you’re very likely to have earned this trophy already, Classic Mode doesn’t end until you die, so you are pretty much guaranteed to earn it here.

Phase Four – Super Destronaut DX Hardcore Mode Trophy

Finally, the last part of your journey is to take on Hardcore Mode.

While Hardcore Mode can get pretty difficult, the score we need to rack up here is a mere pittance that you can earn in just a few seconds. Stick around long enough to take out a few enemies and then you’re free to die, taking the trophy with you.
