Welcome to our Hentai vs Evil Trophy Guide. Hentai vs Evil is a small indie game featuring endless hordes of undead creatures, low-poly 3D models, and Anime waifus in desperate need of rescuing. Utilising high-powered firearms and a keen aim, you need to survive a relentless onslaught of zombies, orcs, and reapers and free a trapped girl from her cage across 3 different maps. Hentai vs Evil is available on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
Phase One – Play Rescue Mode on Easy
Phase one of our Hentai vs Evil Trophy Guide can be as quick as you make it. The only objective is kill 12 Reapers and rescue the anime girl in each of the 3 maps—The Small Town, The Pirate Bay, and The City. You can play on Easy difficulty to speed things up as there is no difficulty-related trophies.
There are three enemy types in Hentai vs Evil; regular zombies, Orcs (for some reason), and Reapers. You will have to kill a whole bunch of them for the Kill Count trophies. You can choose to work on this during phase once since you’ll be killing a few of them anyway, or you can choose speed trough this phase and tackle them in phase two with the help of Survivor Mode which increases enemy spawning over time.
Lastly, make sure to shoot and collect ammo boxes every time you spot them as they drop temporary weapon buffs; one of which—the blue bullets—allows you to insta-kill any enemy with a single bullet for a short amount of time.
The gameplay loop in Hentai vs Evil is very simple. You load into a level, you can pick up a weapon and then start killing enemies. There will be a large pink beam rising up into the sky that points you towards where the girl is in each level. Fight your way to the girl while killing 12 Reapers and unlock the cage to complete the level. You need to do this a total of 3 times which means you will defeat a minimum of 36 Reapers earning Reaper Killer I and Reaper Killer II leaving 30 Reapers left to kill for Reaper Killer III. As you only need to kill Reapers to complete a level the other Kill Count trophies for the Zombies and Orcs are missable during this stage—though you are likely to get some of them.

Phase Two – Play Survivor Mode on Easy
This phase of our Hentai vs Evil Trophy Guide will be done on Survivor Mode. Load into any map—I prefer the Town map as it has a small forest area at the start that you can use to run around in—and start killing Zombies, Orcs, and Reapers while collecting 32 ammo cases.
The best strategy for this phase is to run around the forest in The Town and shoot down ammo cases to hopefully collect the blue bullet buff. Turn around and kill every Zombie, Orc, and Reaper that has been chasing you. This means you earn progress on Zombie Killer III, Orc Killer III, Reaper Killer III, and Box Collector III at the same time.
Alternatively, you can just work on killing 250 Zombies, 150 Orcs, and 66 Reapers individually and then go shoot down and collect 32 Ammo Boxes. Either way you choose to tackle this phase your goal is just to survive and kill things.
In Survivor Mode as the time increases so does the enemy spawns. At around 5 minutes in you will notice the horde that chases you will be much bigger and more aggressive. This works out in your favour as you can just run around the starting area while gunning down enemies which cuts out the need to hunt them down yourself. I would recommend keeping an eye on your health and try to keep it close to 100% as around the 10 minute mark the horde becomes very large and if you get distracted for a second and the horde surrounds you it could end your game real fast.

Killing 250 Zombies isn’t as bad as it sounds. In Survivor Mode you will have a large group of Zombies chasing you at all times and if you grab the blue bullet buffs from the Ammo Boxes you can gun down large numbers of zombies pretty quickly. The assault rifle is probably the best weapon for this trophy. After you kill your 250th zombie “Zombie Killer III” will unlock.

Kill 150 orcs
Orcs are large green enemies—who knew?—that are a bit tougher than zombies and have more health. You can kill them pretty fast with the assault rifle if you aim at their upper chest/head area; more orcs spawn in Survivor Mode than Rescue Mode. After you kill your 150th orc “Orc Killer III” will unlock.
Reaper Killer III
Kill 66 reapers
Reapers are large floating enemies that glow orange. They have the most health and hit the hardest out of all the enemies in Hentai vs Evil. More reapers spawn in Survival Mode which makes killing 66 really easy and after already killing 36 in Rescue Mode you will only have 30 left to kill anyway. Once the 36th reaper is dead “Reaper Killer III” will unlock.

In Hentai vs Evil you will come across tool boxes floating in the air. When you shoot them down one of two weapon buffs will spawn on the ground. You can get either fire bullets or insta-kill bullets—the latter of which is the best—which will aid you in your zombie slaying for a short time. When you run around an area ammo boxes will spawn on the edge of the draw distance giving you an endless supply. After you collect your 32nd ammo box “Box Collector III” will unlock.
