A Street Cat’s Tale Trophy Guide and Road Map for PlayStation 4

Welcome to our A Street Cat’s Tale Trophy Guide. A Street Cat’s tale follows the story of a kitten whose mother is hit by a car. Trying to survive on your own, you will need to find food and make friends to survive into adulthood.

This touching yet short tale has 11 unique endings depending on the friends you make along the way. Regardless, you’ll need to complete the game as few as just two times to unlock every trophy required for the Platinum trophy.

Phase One | Cat Friends Playthrough

In this phase of our A Street Cat’s Tale Trophy Guide, you should focus on befriending and completing quests for all of the Cat NPCs. That includes Elder Cat, Boss Cat, and the twin kittens Freckles & Dotty.

This is the easiest playthrough and will earn you all of the trophies tied to those three NPCs (Freckles & Dotty count as one), which includes most of the Gold Trophies in the game.

Each trophy in this A Street Cat’s Tale Trophy Guide has instructions for accomplishing the relevant quests.

You will have just 11 days to complete all of these questlines and unlock their trophies.

As this is the easier playthrough and House Upgrades make survival easier, you should frequently upgrade your house by depositing materials with Jimmy. This way, you’ll have an easier time in the next playthrough or two.

To complete this playthrough with ease, follow the below steps every in-game day:

StepActionTime
1Speak to Michelle near the bins and give her gifts she likes or act friendly to get Canned FoodDay only
2Give gifts to Elder Cat, Boss Cat, and Freckles & Dotty.
Elder Cat likes Canned Food and Whole Fish.
Boss Cat likes Canned Food, Whole Fish, and Rats.
Freckles & Dotty like Canned Food, Whole Fish, Rats, Fish Leftovers, Gloves, and Flowers.
As much as possible, complete quests for these NPCs when they’re available.
Day / Night
3Spend the rest of your day collecting items that Jimmy needs and delivering them to him so you can upgrade your home.Day / Night
4Make sure you go to sleep in your home before the day ends, or you won’t recover HP/Hunger overnight.Night

By simply repeating that process for all 11 days, you should get all of the trophies listed below in a single playthrough.

Any that you miss can always be cleaned up in Phase Three of this Trophy Guide.

Boss Cat Trophies

Trophy Image
Show my respect

Completed Boss Cat’s first quest

Trophy Image

Increase Boss Cat’s Intimacy level to 2 by giving them gifts or acting friendly up to twice each day. You can find Black Cat in the Parking Lot at the north corner of town.

Once Boss Cat’s Intimacy is at Level 2, speak to them and you’ll be asked to bring them Canned Food.

You can easily get Canned Food by acting Friendly to the NPC named Michelle Jung near the bins in the southwest corner of the map.

Bring the canned food to the Boss Cat, and you’ll boost their intimacy level as well as unlocking the “Show my respect” trophy.

Trophy Image
Tell me about mama

Completed Boss Cat’s second quest

Trophy Image

Reach Intimacy Level 3 with Boss Cat and he’ll ask you for more Canned Food.

Get some from Michelle Jung by the bins in the southwest corner of town and then bring it back to Boss Cat to unlock the “Tell me about mama” trophy.

Trophy Image
Tell me about the Boss Cat

Completed Boss Cat’s third quest

Trophy Image

When Boss Cat is at Intimacy Level 4, you will inquire into his past but he’ll shut you down.

Go and speak to Elder Cat, who will eagerly tell you more about Boss Cat if your Intimacy Level with him is high enough.

Once you’ve gotten the scoop from Elder Cat, return to Boss Cat to receive the “Tell me about the Boss Cat” trophy.

Trophy Image
Boss and his great rat-hunting skills

Completed Boss Cat’s fourth quest

Trophy Image

After you reach Intimacy Level 5 with Boss Cat, he’ll start talking about Rats.

Go and fetch a rat from anywhere in town; they typically spawn under cardboard boxes.

Once you have one, bring it back to Boss Cat to unlock the “Boss and his great rat-hunting skills.”

Trophy Image
Our hunger comes first!

Completed Boss Cat’s fifth quest

Trophy Image

Once you reach Intimacy Level 6 with Boss Cat, he’ll insist that you steal a big fish from the Fish Market.

Go to Bobby Kim’s Fish Stall in the north corner of town and press on the stall to steal.

Steal a fish and bring it back to Boss Cat to unlock the “Our hunger comes first!” trophy.

Elder Cat Quest Trophies

Trophy Image
Get food for Elder Cat

Completed Elder Cat’s first quest

Trophy Image

The Elder Cat is found southwest of your home, next to the “Sky Academy.”

Increase Elder Cat’s Intimacy to Level 2 by speaking to them frequently and choosing to give them gifts they like or just choosing “Act Friendly” for a small boost.

Once their Intimacy is at Level 2, speak to them again and they’ll ask you to help gather food. Specifically, they ask you to bring them some Leftover Fish.

Look for Leftover Fish in nearby trash cans and boxes until you find some. Bring it to Elder Cat to unlock the “Get food for Elder Cat” trophy.

Trophy Image
Become friends with the Boss Cat

Completed Elder Cat’s second quest

Trophy Image

Reach Intimacy Level 3 with Elder Cat after unlocking Get food for Elder Cat, and Elder Cat will tell you to make friends with Boss Cat in the northeast corner of town.

Unlock the Show my respect trophy by reaching intimacy level 1 with Boss Cat and then bringing him Canned Food from Michelle in the southwest corner.

Once Boss Cat’s first objective has been complete, come back and speak to Elder Cat to unlock the “Become friends with the Boss Cat” trophy.

Trophy Image
Go get a huge fish

Completed Elder Cat’s third quest

Trophy Image

Once you reach Intimacy Level 4 with Elder Cat, he will ask you to go and steal a Fish from the Fish Market at the northeast side of town.

Press on the stall to grab a fish and then bring it back to Elder Cat to unlock the “Go get a huge fish” trophy.

Stealing will negatively impact the Intimacy Levels you have with all Human NPCs.

Trophy Image
Gift for a friend

Completed Elder Cat’s fourth quest

Trophy Image

When you reach Intimacy Level 5 with Elder Cat, he will ask for a “clear, sparkling thing.”

He’s simply referring to a shard of glass. You can get glass shards from the broken bottle near the bar in the north corner of Town.

Bring Elder Cat a piece of broken glass to unlock the “Gift for a friend” trophy.

Trophy Image
The final farewell

Completed Elder Cat’s fifth quest

Trophy Image

When you reach Intimacy Level 6 with Elder Cat, he’ll ask you to go and get the other cats.

Go to Boss Cat and Freckles & Dotty on the north side of the map and speak to them, then go back and speak to Elder Cat.

At the start of the dialogue, the “The final farewell” trophy will unlock.

Freckles & Dotty Quest Trophies

Trophy Image
Token of friendship

Completed Freckle & Dotty’s first quest

Trophy Image

Freckle & Dotty live on a pile of newspaper behind a grocery store southeast of Boss Cat in the north corner of the map.

Increase their Intimacy to Level 2 by giving them gifts that they like or by Acting Friendly with them up to twice per day.

Once they reach Intimacy Level 2, speak to them again and they’ll tell you that in order to become friends, they need the same sparkly thing that Elder Cat has around his neck.

This is just a glass shard and you can find one nearby. Head northwest to find a broken bottle on the ground. Interact with it to retrieve a glass shard and then bring it back to Freckles & Dotty to unlock the “Token of friendship” trophy.

Trophy Image
I’m hungry

Completed Freckle & Dotty’s second quest

Trophy Image

Reach Intimacy Level 3 with Freckle & Dotty then speak to them to observe their hunger.

You’ll decide to get some food for them and will need to find some Leftover Fish in a nearby trash can or box.

Bring the Leftover Fish back to Freckles & Dotty to unlock the “I’m Hungry” trophy.

Trophy Image
How to hunt

Completed Freckle & Dotty’s third quest

Trophy Image

When you reach Level 4 Intimacy with Freckles & Dotty, you’ll discuss hunting Rats with them and will need to bring them a Rat so that you can teach them how to get food for themselves.

Rats can usually be found inside cardboard boxes, so check them all over town until you find one.

Bring the rat back to Freckles & Dotty and you’ll unlock the “How to hunt” trophy.

Trophy Image
Huge fish

Completed Freckle & Dotty’s fourth quest

Trophy Image

When Freckles & Dotty reach Intimacy Level 5, they will start talking about all the big fish at Bobby Kim’s big Fish Stall.

As with the Go get a huge fish trophy, you will need to steal a fish from Bobby Kim’s fish stall and then bring it to Freckles & Dotty.

The “Huge fish” trophy will then unlock.

Trophy Image
Let momma go

Completed Freckle & Dotty’s fifth quest

Trophy Image

When you reach Intimacy Level 6 with Freckles & Dotty, they’ll start mourning the loss of their Mother.

At the advice of Boss Cat, go and pick some flowers for the two kittens. Bring them the flowers and the “Let momma go” trophy will unlock.

Phase Two | Human (& Dog) Friends Playthrough

In this second phase of our A Street Cat’s Tale trophy guide, we’re going to try and collect all remaining quest trophies in a single playthrough.

You’ll be juggling gifts and requests for 6 different NPCs, three times as many as you had to manage in phase one!

Hopefully, though, with your house upgrades and knowledge of where items and NPCs are, you should be able to manage it. If not, you can use the third phase of this trophy guide to clean up any remaining quests.

Plus, I’ve written the handy guide below which you can follow each day to complete all quests in a row through a single playthrough.

StepActionTime
1Speak to Michelle near the bins and give her gifts she likes or act friendly to get Canned FoodDay only
2Give gifts to or act friendly with Michelle, Bobby, and Sarah.
Michelle likes Flowers and Gloves.
Bobby likes Flowers, Bandages, and Gloves.
Sarah likes Bandages, Glass Shards, and Flowers.
As much as possible, complete quests for these NPCs when they’re available.
Day
3Give gifts to or act friendly with Doggo twice.
Doggo likes Canned Food, Whole Fish, Leftover Fish, Rats, Glass Shards, and Flowers.
Whenever possible, complete quest objectives for Doggo.
Day / Night
4Give gifts Simon and Gregory.
Simon likes Bandages and Fish. You can also Act Friendly with Simon.
Gregory likes Bandages, Fish, Canned Food and Flowers. If you give him anything else or attempt to Act Friendly, he will hurt you.
As much as possible, complete quests for these NPCs when they’re available.
Night
5Make sure you go to sleep in your home before the day ends, or you won’t recover HP/Hunger overnight.Night

For one of Simon and Sarah’s quests, you’ll need to go and befriend the other cats up to Intimacy Level 2, which means you’ll need to speak to the cats each day too, but at least you don’t need to reach Intimacy Level 6 with them.

Bobby Quest Trophies

Trophy Image
Bobby’s picnic with flowers

Completed Bobby’s first quest

Trophy Image

Bobby is the Human NPC next to the Fish Stall in the northeast.

Reach Intimacy Level 2 with Bobby Kim by bringing him gifts that he likes or just Acting Friendly up to twice per day.

Once he’s at Intimacy Level 1, he’ll mention wanting to go on a Picnic to “watch” flowers.

Grab a Flower from a grass patch nearby and bring it back to Bobby to unlock the “Bobby’s picnic with flowers” trophy.

Trophy Image
Injured Bobb

Completed Bobby’s second quest

Trophy Image

When you reach Intimacy Level 4 with Bobby Kim, he’ll ask you to go and reach Intimacy Level 2 with “The Lady in the Recycling Area.”

He’s referring to Michelle in the southwest corner of town. Reach Intimacy Level 2 with Michelle and then return to speak to Bobby, the “Injured Bobb” trophy will then unlock.

Trophy Image
Filthy rat

Doggo asks you to bring him a flower that he can use to cheer up the shop owner. Flowers can be found on the grassy patches northwest of Doggo.

Bring him a flower to unlock the “Something to make you feel better” trophy.

Trophy Image
What my mom and dad used to give me

Completed Doggo’s second quest

Trophy Image

When you reach Intimacy Level 3 with Doggo he will mention that his “Mom and Dad” used to give him bones when he was a good boy.

Check nearby trash cans and boxes for bones and then bring one back to Doggo. Speak to him and the “What my mom and dad used to give me” trophy will unlock.

Trophy Image
Let’s learn about humans

Completed Doggo’s third quest

Trophy Image

When you reach Intimacy Level 5 with Doggo, he’ll start speaking to you about living with Humans. To complete this quest, you just need to meet every human NPC and then speak to Doggo once you’ve done so.

This trophy’s a bit tricky and the requirements for the quest are a bit unclear. If you’re struggling to get the quest to complete, reach Intimacy Level 2 with every Human, and then speak to Doggo, the “Let’s learn about humans” should unlock then.

Trophy Image
Good human, bad human?

Completed Doggo’s fourth quest

Trophy Image

When you reach Intimacy level 6 with Doggo, he’ll talk about becoming closer friends with all of the Human NPCs.

For this quest, you need to go and reach Intimacy Level 2 with all Human NPCs. That means the following characters:

  • Bobby Kim
  • Gregory Park
  • Simon Lee
  • Sarah Lim
  • Michelle

Once you’ve done so, return and speak to Doggo again to unlock the “Good human, bad human?” trophy.

Gregory Quest Trophies

Trophy Image
I lost my house key

Completed Gregory’s first quest

Trophy Image

Gregory is the NPC leaning against the chainlink fence next to the bar on the northeast side of town. If you try to act friendly with him he’ll hit you and deal damage to you. There are only a few gifts you can give to him which won’t result in him hitting you:

  • Canned food
  • Fish (whole)
  • Bandages
  • Flower

By giving him the items listed above, reach Intimacy Level 2 with Gregory and then speak to him to learn he’s lost his key.

His key can be found under the bench near Simon Lee on the east side of town.

Collect the key and bring it to Gregory to unlock the “I lost my house key” trophy.

Trophy Image
I lost my wallet

Completed Gregory’s fourth quest

Trophy Image

Reach Intimacy Level 6 with Gregory, and then when you speak to him, he’ll start to struggle with his breathing.

Simon Quest Trophies

Trophy Image
Bring your friends

Completed Simon’s first quest

Trophy Image
Make the human feel better

Completed Sarah’s fourth quest

Trophy Image

When you reach Intimacy Level 5 with Sarah and then speak to her, she’ll tell you a sad story about bullying at her school.

Completed Michelle’s second quest

Trophy Image

Michelle’s second quest won’t begin until you reach Intimacy Level 4 with her.

Once you’ve done so, speak to her again and she’ll complain that her back hurts but she’s not finished feeding the local cats.

Trophy Image
I bit a human

Completed Michelle’s third quest

Trophy Image

Reach Intimacy Level 5 with Michelle and then speak to her. She’ll try to grab you and in a panic you’ll bite her.
