Trophy Guide

A Street Cat’s Tale Trophy Guide and Road Map for PlayStation 4

Welcome to our A Street Cat’s Tale Trophy Guide. A Street Cat’s tale follows the story of a kitten whose mother is hit by a car. Trying to survive on your own, you will need to find food and make friends to survive into adulthood.

This touching yet short tale has 11 unique endings depending on the friends you make along the way. Regardless, you’ll need to complete the game as few as just two times to unlock every trophy required for the Platinum trophy.

Phase One | Cat Friends Playthrough

In this phase of our A Street Cat’s Tale Trophy Guide, you should focus on befriending and completing quests for all of the Cat NPCs. That includes Elder Cat, Boss Cat, and the twin kittens Freckles & Dotty.

This is the easiest playthrough and will earn you all of the trophies tied to those three NPCs (Freckles & Dotty count as one), which includes most of the Gold Trophies in the game.

Each trophy in this A Street Cat’s Tale Trophy Guide has instructions for accomplishing the relevant quests.

You will have just 11 days to complete all of these questlines and unlock their trophies.

As this is the easier playthrough and House Upgrades make survival easier, you should frequently upgrade your house by depositing materials with Jimmy. This way, you’ll have an easier time in the next playthrough or two.

To complete this playthrough with ease, follow the below steps every in-game day:

StepActionTime
1Speak to Michelle near the bins and give her gifts she likes or act friendly to get Canned FoodDay only
2Give gifts to Elder Cat, Boss Cat, and Freckles & Dotty.
Elder Cat likes Canned Food and Whole Fish.
Boss Cat likes Canned Food, Whole Fish, and Rats.
Freckles & Dotty like Canned Food, Whole Fish, Rats, Fish Leftovers, Gloves, and Flowers.
As much as possible, complete quests for these NPCs when they’re available.
Day / Night
3Spend the rest of your day collecting items that Jimmy needs and delivering them to him so you can upgrade your home.Day / Night
4Make sure you go to sleep in your home before the day ends, or you won’t recover HP/Hunger overnight.Night

By simply repeating that process for all 11 days, you should get all of the trophies listed below in a single playthrough.

Any that you miss can always be cleaned up in Phase Three of this Trophy Guide.

Boss Cat Trophies

You can easily get Canned Food by acting Friendly to the NPC named Michelle Jung near the bins in the southwest corner of the map.

Bring the canned food to the Boss Cat, and you’ll boost their intimacy level as well as unlocking the “Show my respect” trophy.

Once they reach Intimacy Level 2, speak to them again and they’ll tell you that in order to become friends, they need the same sparkly thing that Elder Cat has around his neck.

This is just a glass shard and you can find one nearby. Head northwest to find a broken bottle on the ground. Interact with it to retrieve a glass shard and then bring it back to Freckles & Dotty to unlock the “Token of friendship” trophy.

Phase Two | Human (& Dog) Friends Playthrough

In this second phase of our A Street Cat’s Tale trophy guide, we’re going to try and collect all remaining quest trophies in a single playthrough.

You’ll be juggling gifts and requests for 6 different NPCs, three times as many as you had to manage in phase one!

Hopefully, though, with your house upgrades and knowledge of where items and NPCs are, you should be able to manage it. If not, you can use the third phase of this trophy guide to clean up any remaining quests.

Plus, I’ve written the handy guide below which you can follow each day to complete all quests in a row through a single playthrough.

For one of Simon and Sarah’s quests, you’ll need to go and befriend the other cats up to Intimacy Level 2, which means you’ll need to speak to the cats each day too, but at least you don’t need to reach Intimacy Level 6 with them.
