Welcome to our Takorita Meets Fries Trophy Guide. Takorita Meets Fries is a bizarre Visual Novel game that explores the story of a mermaid princess discovering fries for the first time. As we’ve come to expect from Ratalaika; the game has an incredibly quick and easy platinum.
Phase One – Follow Our Walkthrough
Using this Takorita Meets Fries Trophy Guide Walkthrough, you can unlock all 14 trophies in less than 5 minutes, or a little bit longer if you decide to actually read the dialogue. You paid good money for this game, so you might as well try and enjoy it, right?
No? Okay, well, if you wish to be able to skip everything possible at the speed of light, go into the Options from the main menu and match the following in the “System” tab:
- Text Speed: Full (10 Fry Boxes)
- Auto Play Speed: Full (10 Fry Boxes)
- Skip Mode: ALL
- Stop Skipping After Choices: NO
With the settings above, when you press 
to skip, the game will blast through all the dialogue and only stop when it comes to a choice. Then, when you make a choice, it will automatically blast through to the next one.
Takorita Meets Fries Platinum Trophy Walkthrough
There are several possible endings in Takorita Meets Fries, but to make sure you see them all in a single playthrough we’re going to use manual saves at specific points in the story, which you can then switch between, to ensure that nothing gets missed.
Now then, load up the game and either play through the story to the first choice, or just hit and watch as the first part of the story blurs past you and these two trophies will unlock:
Prologue Cleared!
You’ve cleared the Prologue!
Chapter 1 Cleared!
You’ve cleared Chapter 1!
Mid-way through chapter 2, you will be presented with your first choice:
- Take a walk in the forest a bit longer.
- Go to where the waterfall is.
- Go to the volcano.
You should make a save here (
opens the menu) as we’re going to need to play all three of these choices.
Once you have made your save in the No. 0 save slot, select the first option “Take a walk in the forest a bit longer”.
Continue now until the next choice, which comes in Chapter 3, after you unlock this trophy:
Chapter 2 Cleared!
You’ve cleared Chapter 2!
Mid-way through Chapter 3, you’ll be faced with this choice:
- Princess Takorita and Dino.
- Ina and Mer.
Here, you should make another save ( to open the menu) but make sure you do not overwrite our first save in No. 0, save this one in the No. 1 slot.
Once you’ve saved the game correctly, select “Princess Takorita and Dino” and continue through the story. You will reach the Cave/Forest ending and receive these trophies:
Chapter 3-Cave Cleared!
You’ve cleared Chapter 3-Cave!
Chapter 4-Forest Cleared!
You’ve cleared Chapter 4-Forest!
After achieving the Cave/Forest ending, load up Save No. 1 to bring you back to the previous choice in Chapter 3, and then choose “Ina and Mer” instead. Follow the story through to the Pond/Forest ending and you will receive this trophy:
Chapter 3-Pond Cleared!
You’ve cleared Chapter 3-Pond!
Play all the way to the end to ensure you see the full Pond variant of the Chapter 4 ending, even though there’s no trophy for it, and then load up the No. 0 save you made at your very first choice.
This time, choose “Go to where the waterfall is” and then see the story through to the finale. There are no extra choices down this route. When you reach the ending, you will unlock the following two trophies:
Chapter 3-Waterfall Cleared!
You’ve cleared Chapter 3-Waterfall!
Chapter 4-Waterfall Cleared!
You’ve cleared Chapter 4-Waterfall!
Once you have the two trophies above, load Save No. 0 again and this time choose “Go to the volcano.” Play through to the end of the game to receive the following two trophies:
Chapter 3-Volcano Cleared!
You’ve cleared Chapter 3-Volcano!
Chapter 4-Volcano Cleared!
You’ve cleared Chapter 4-Volcano!
Now that you have earned the final two ending trophies, you will get to experience a special Epilogue chapter. It has no choices and plays immediately after the last ending, so just play it through once to unlock the following trophy:
Epilogue Cleared!
You’ve cleared the Epilogue!
Having now seen every possible ending and all CGs, the following two trophies will unlock too:
All CGs Unlocked!
You’ve unlocked all of the CGs.
All Endings Unlocked!
You’ve unlocked all of the endings.
Plat Get!
All Trophies Unlocked!
You’ve unlocked all of the trophies!
