Where to Find all Nexomon in Nexomon Extinction on Console

Welcome to our Nexomon Extinction Nexomon Location Guide. In this guide, we will help you to locate all 381 Nexomon in Nexomon Extinction. If you are looking for help with the Original Nexomon game, check out our Nexomon Location Guide. The Nexomon Extinction Location Guide below is segmented based on location and I’ve provided screenshots to help you determine each location.

The guide is written with the assumption that you’ve beaten the main story at least once. This is because many areas will require various skills to access and some Nexomon don’t spawn until later in the story. I also use Fast Travel points to help orient you in the guide, so it helps to have all of those.

Note that sometimes two monster spawn areas (i.e. grass patches) in the same area can have different spawn rates, so be sure to try several monster spawn areas on each “screen” to maximize your search.

You will not be able to find every single Nexomon in the wild this way, a small number of them will need to be evolved, so if you cannot find the Nexomon you are looking for, consider evolving the prior Nexomon in the evolution chain.

I cannot guarantee that these locations list every possible Nexomon spawn. I did go to each individual location myself and verified that every single Nexomon I noted down actually spawned there. However, there’s no way to know when to stop looking for Nexomon, so while exploring the areas listed below you may find Nexomon that I didn’t find.

I have tried to include all Nexomon of an evolution line when more than one of their forms is available in an area, however, it’s likely that I missed one or two in the areas with more spawn variety, such as Palmaya.

Press Ctrl+F (Cmd+F on Mac) to search for the Nexomon you need if you are here looking for a specific Nexomon. On Google Chrome for Mobile, you can click the three dots in the top-right corner of the browser and then select “Find in Page” to search for what you need. You can search by either Database number or name!

For accurate results, include the zeroes when searching for a sub-100 database number (i.e. “035” or “#035”).

The rarity of each Nexomon is indicated using a symbol, the key for which is here:

• Common ●
• Uncommon ♦
• Rare ★
• Mega Rare ✪
• Ultra Rare ✹

These rarity symbols will help you determine two things; How likely the Nexomon are to spawn and how easy they will be to catch. Common Nexomon can usually be captured with just a simple Nexotrap, whereas Rare, Mega Rare, and Ultra Rare Nexomon will require you to damage them, feed them, or use a special Nexotrap against them to increase your chances.

Orphanage & Pinewoods Region

Starting Cave

There’s a cave far to the north of the Orphanage which you need to climb down into. At the back of this cave, in another room, there’s a patch of grass containing the below Nexomon:

The following Nexomon will roam the land once you have the Experimental Lure and have very low spawn rates in the area where they appear. You can get the Experimental Lure by purchasing it from a Scientist in the Synthesis Lab. It will allow certain “extinct” Nexomon to begin appearing.

There’s around a 3.3% chance of a roaming Legendary spawning each time you enter a tile with shaking grass on it.

These Nexomon are incredibly difficult to catch as well as being rare spawns, so it is wise to save your Golden Nexotraps for these Nexomon.

371	Nara	West of the Hidden Village, Khan Woods. Go north via the northwest exit and speak to the NPC there.
372	Grunda	Southwest of Lateria: Cave.
373	Ventra	Southeast of Lydia’s Village, Drake Isles – Inside the shrine.
374	Luxa	From Cadium’s Fast Travel Point, travel south by two screens and then enter the large gilded doors of Zetta’s Mansion. Speak to the NPC inside to start the fight.

Last but not least, #378 Protovados and #379 Vados are super-secret hidden Nexomon.

After you have finished the story, return to the prison north of Lateria.

Sneak back inside and speak to Amelie in her cell. Through doing so, you will receive the quest “Finding Vados.”

Once you have begun the quest, return to Nexomon Tower north of the Frozen Tundra warp point and then climb all the way to the top, where you will find Protovados waiting for you.

Fight and catch Protovados and then you will need to raise it to Level 90 for it to evolve into Vados.

Remaining Nexomon

As stated at the top of this Nexomon Locations guide, you won’t find every Nexomon in the wild. You will need to evolve some of them to get all possible Nexomon, so it’s time to direct your attention to your collection and see which ones you might need to evolve.
