Trophy Guide

Jusant Trophy Guide and Road Map for PlayStation 5

Welcome to our Jusant Trophy Guide. Jusant is a short and peaceful indie game in which you climb a giant stone cliff in a barren desert. With intricate climbing mechanics, the game focuses mostly on what makes it unique.

The trophy journey is as peaceful as the game itself. It will ask that you explore every nook and cranny of the cliffs in Jusant, but thanks to our Jusant All Collectibles Guide, you’ll have some guidance in doing so. There’s also a handful of Chapter-Specific Trophies that you may like to unlock in your first playthrough to avoid any cleanup.

Beyond that, the trophy journey is an enjoyably smooth and reliably calm adventure with a few touching moments and pleasant visuals peppered in throughout.

Phase One | Complete the Game and Try to do Everything

In this first phase of our Jusant Trophy Guide, you essentially want to try to do everything. That means looking out for the Chapter-Specific Trophies, following our Jusant All Collectibles Guide, and trying to nab the handful of Miscellaneous Trophies along the way.

If you do miss anything, though, there’s no reason to panic, as you can use the game’s Chapter Select feature to return to any of the 6 Chapters in Jusant.

Chapter-Specific Trophies

Collective climb

Stop 25 pebbles with a single echo from the ballast.

Chapter-Specific

Non-Cumulative

“Pebbles” in Jusant are small insects with stone-like growths on their back. Or maybe they’re just bugs carrying stones. Whatever they are, you will see a lot of them during Chapter 3, where you’ll need to use them as handholds to progress.

Continue through the chapter and eventually, you’ll need to swing from a grapple hook on a windmill to reach a small ledge on the cliffside.

When you land, you’ll see that the large wall is covered in little Pebbles skittering around. You need to use them to continue the climb.

Wait until you see a nice big group of them cluster together and then press to use your Echo ability.

If you hit at least 25 of them—which should be easy here—you will unlock the Collective Climb trophy. It might take a few attempts.

Awakened memory

Use the echo on a frozen ballast in Chapter 6.

Chapter-Specific

During Chapter 6, you will see several large creatures—similar to your Ballast companion—which are frozen in ice.

Approach any one of them and press to use your Echo ability to unlock the Awakened memory trophy.

A faint glimmer

Warm up the ballast in chapter 6.

Chapter-Specific

At any time before beginning to climb the tower in Chapter 6, you can press and hold & together to warm up your Ballast companion. Doing this will unlock the “A faint glimmer” trophy.

Fresh air

Restore your stamina more than 50 times while climbing.

Unmissable

Cumulative

In the early stages of the game, you’ll get to grips with the stamina mechanic. Watch your stamina gauge begins to dwindle, simply push to recharge.

To unlock the Fresh Air Trophy, you need to do this a cumulative total of 50 time. Being such a core mechanic, however, you’ll naturally progress the trophy throughout the game.

Phase Two | Clean-up

If you missed anything in the first phase of our Jusant Trophy Guide, now is your chance to go back and mop up.

Via Chapter Select, you can replay any of the game’s six chapters from the beginning. Use this to grab any Collectible Trophies or Chapter-Specific Trophies that gave you the slip.

Included in this section are a few miscellaneous trophies that you may have naturally acquired. If you do not have them, you can attempt to acquire them now via Chapter Select.

Miscellaneous Trophies

Angel's carabiner

Place a piton at the top of a wall run.

Semi-Missable

Pitons in the game are like tactical checkpoints you set up on certain surfaces, handy for repeated attempts at those inevitable falls.

Here’s how it works: find a wall that’s wide enough for a run, and at the peak of your ascent, place a piton.

The trick is to keep wall-running and use the button to set another piton just as you’re at the apex of your wall run.

While you might snag this trophy during your regular climbing adventures, it might also need a bit of practice to master. Keep at it, and you’ll have the “Angel’s Carabiner” trophy in no time.

Acrobat

Complete more than 200 jumps or double jumps in one game.

Cumulative

To unlock the “Acrobat” Trophy you only need to jump (or double-jump) a cumulative total of 200 times.

There’s a pretty high chance that you’ll do this naturally while playing through the story, but if you find yourself a few jumps short, just head back into any chapter and start jumping on the spot.

Bogeychoco

Scare more than 10 chocos back to their burrow.

Cumulative

To unlock the “Bogeychoco” trophy, you need to scare 10 chocos so that they scurry off and run back to their burrow.

Chocos look like a cross between a piglet and a rabbit and you will come across them many times throughout the story. You’ll likely scare many more than just 10 of them back into their dens without even thinking about it.

Adventure buddies

Hug the ballast.

The “Ballast” is the cute little critter that accompanies you on your journey. At any time, you can huge the Ballast by pressing . The first time you do this, you will unlock the Adventure buddies trophy.

Repeat 19 times and you’ll also receive Restored Connection.

Restored connection

Hug the ballast 20 times.

Cumulative

After unlocking Adventure buddies, press 19 more times to receive the “Restored Connection” Trophy too.
