Trophy Guide

Concept Destruction Trophy Guide and Road Map

Concept Destruction is a very easy Destruction Derby-Esque game which you can get all trophies on in about 30 minutes! There’s a small handful of miscellaneous trophies which may not be immediately obvious, but using this Concept Destruction Trophy Guide, you won’t miss a single one!

Phase One – Driving School

There’s a couple of trophies to collect in the School mode, which is just something of a tutorial and where you’ll be spending the first few minutes following this Concept Destruction Trophy Guide.

Start it up by selecting “School” from the main menu, and the game will present you with three options of tutorial lessons you can take on.

Driving School Trophies

Get out of the driving area in School

To start with, load up the first lesson in the School mode and then drive to the back corner on the right, there you’ll find a ruler leading up and over the trees, drive along it to get out of the main area, thus unlocking this trophy.

Pass all school lessons

Now you just need to complete each of the three lessons. They’re super easy, so they won’t take you more than a few minutes. The trophy will unlock as soon as all three are complete.

Phase Two – Survival

For this phase of our Concept Destruction trophy guide, you just need to survive for three minutes in the Survival game mode. You can find it under “Single Event” in the main menu.

Survive for Over Three Minutes

The Survivor

Survive over 3 minutes in Survival mode

This can actually be quite difficult because you’ll have 49 cars piling onto you in seconds if you leave the default settings in place. So, from the main menu select “Options” and then “Gameplay.”

There, apply the following settings to make this phase much easier:

All you’ll need to do then is to just drive around for three minutes avoiding the one rival. If you choose the Plaza map, which will probably be your only option, I found that you can avoid your rival completely by getting onto the roof of the building. Just drive up the ramps at the back and jump across from the upper-most ledge. Doing this will also earn you The Roofer.

Phase Three – Championship

Now it’s time to play the game’s main mode. From the main menu, select “Championship,” which is where we’ll spend a lot of our time for this phase of the Concept Destruction Trophy Guide.

Your main goal here is to win the championship, which is a pretty easy thing to do. In order to make it even easy, though, you can set your resistance to 10 in the settings:

Feel free to change any other settings you like, such as “Consumption when boosting.”

Here, you’ll also want to earn the following trophies in their corresponding levels:

They’re miscellaneous trophies but the Championship mode will take us through every stage, so it makes sense to grab them all now.

Level-specific Trophies

The Roofer

Drive on the roof in “The Plaza”

Simply drive up these ramps at the back of The Plaza:

From up there, you can jump across to the roof by boosting through the cones.

Get out of the arena in “The Bulls”

When you spawn in “The Bulls,” turn around and you’ll see a cat-flap-like door taped onto the wall behind some fencing. Simply drive through it to find yourself out of the bullfighting ring, holding a brand new trophy.

The Pilot

Jump and stay in air for more than 3 seconds

You can actually get this completely by accident just by getting thrown up into the air by an onslaught of rival cars, like I did:

However, the best way to get this on purpose is in the stage “The Rooftop.” From the start of the stage, drive forwards and to the right, towards this ramp in the corner.

Boost over it and you’ll go flying off the rooftop into a safe area below. It will take so long to land that this trophy will unlock. You’ll also be set up for the next trophy:

Get to the paint zone in “The Rooftop”

After throwing yourself from the rooftop for the trophy The Pilot, turn around and drive down the side of the building to find a collection of painting supplies. Approach it and the trophy will unlock.

Hit the hidden ball in “The Stadium”

When you spawn in The Stadium, there’ll be a huge can of soda in-front of you. Boost into it by holding and it’ll tip, dropping an American Football onto the ground.

Simply hit the American Football with your car one time and the trophy will unlock.

The Scorer

Drive through one of the goal posts in “The Stadium”

Also in the stage “The Stadium,” drive behind one of the two big ramps at either end of the field and line yourself up with it. Your goal is to boost yourself up over the ramp and between the pencil goalposts, thus unlocking the trophy.

Win the Championship

The Champion

Win the Championship

Winning the Championship is as easy as making it to the end without getting knocked out while ramming anybody who gets in your way for a few extra points. At the end of each level, your score will be tallied, and you’ll see your position in the rankings, but it’s unlikely that you’ll ever not be in first position unless you’re just idling.

If you happen to get destroyed or knocked off the map at any point, no worries. All you need to do is select “Restart” on the end-screen and that level will start again, you won’t have to start from the beginning of the championship.

Once you successfully make it to the end, in first place, a small podium cutscene will play out and you’ll get your trophy.

Phase Four – Tourism Mode & Clean Up

This final phase of our Concept Destruction Trophy Guide makes cleanup a breeze. There’s just one game mode left to play and it is perfect for what’s left.

From the main menu, under “Single Event,” select “Tourism.” In Tourism mode, the rival vehicles are no longer aggressive; they just run docile laps of the arena. I recommend that you select “The Bulls” as your stage of choice. You will also want to use the “ZIP JX” vehicle, or you can’t earn the trophy The Bully.

Miscellaneous Trophies

With the conditions all set up as per the instructions above, it’s time to go wild in Tourism mode and collect your remaining trophies. Many of the trophies in this portion of our Concept Destruction Trophy Guide have probably already been earned throughout the Championship mode, but it doesn’t hurt to check.

Destroy a rival car

Destroy your first car for this trophy. It’s a hard one to miss!

The Serial Killer

Destroy 3 rival cars in a single event

After destroying three vehicles in a single event, this trophy will unlock. It’s unlikely that you will make it this far without doing this at least once, but if you have then Tourism Mode is the place to be. You can go wild destroying cars willy-nilly until that trophy is yours.

Trophy Image

The Hater

Destroy a rival car in Tourism mode

Here’s another trophy for destroying a car. Only this time, you need to do it in Tourism Mode, so smash up one of the mindless circle-driving cardboard cruisers in the area for your very own The Hater trophy.

Trophy Image
Trophy Image
The Bully

Destroy car “TIFA X/2” using car “ZIP JX”

Making sure you’re using the vehicle named “ZIP JX,” look for the TIFA X/2 vehicle. It’s a small smart-car-like vehicle of miniature proportions.

Once you find one, boost into it with and it should get immediately wiped out by your much larger ZIP JX, thus unlocking the trophy.

Trophy Image
Trophy Image
The Collector

Pick up 5 batteries from other cars

This trophy is cumulative, meaning it doesn’t need to be done in a single event.

Often, when you slam hard enough into a vehicle to destroy it, they’ll drop their battery. You can then collect this (most of the time you’ll collect it automatically but sometimes it will drop onto the ground) and you’ll gain extra battery charge for your own vehicle.

There’s every chance you already earned this trophy in Championship Mode. If not, though, Tourism Mode is as good a place as any to earn it! There are plenty of cars to smash up!

Trophy Image
Trophy Image
The Tourist

Drive over 5 minutes in Tourism mode

All you need to do for this trophy is hang out in Tourism Mode for a total of 5 minutes. If you need many of the miscellaneous trophies listed above, then you’ll have a decent enough excuse to stick around smashing cars up. If not, though, do it anyway! 5 Minutes is no time at all so have fun with it!
