Trophy Guide

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt Trophy Guide and Road Map for PlayStation 5

Welcome to our Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt Trophy Guide. Bloodhunt is an online multiplayer Battle Royale game, similar to Fortnite or Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds. The game is set in the pre-established world of “Vampire: The Masquerade.”

Please Note that as Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt is an online Battle Royale game, the developers will frequently release new Archetypes and Maps that may not be mentioned in this guide.

Phase One | Top Three With Each Vampire Clan

In this phase of our Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt Trophy Guide, you should focus on getting acquainted with the gameplay and the various classes available.

At the time of writing, there are four clans and seven archetypes:

ClanArchetype
BrujahThe Brute
BrujahThe Vandal
NosferatuThe Saboteur
NosferatuThe Prowler
ToreadorThe Siren
ToreadorThe Muse
VentrueThe Enforcer

Each clan has its own trophy for finishing in the top 3 or higher with one of its archetypes. You can do this in Solo mode if you want, but you’ll have a lot more competition. However, if you play in teams, you will just need your team to finish in the top 3.

Even if you die but one or more of your teammates go on to carry the team into one of the top 3 positions; you’ll still unlock the relevant trophy for the clan you were playing as when you died.

While you work on this and subsequent phases in our guide, there are a few things you should do to make future cleanup easier:

Phase Two | Vampire Abilities

In this second phase of our Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt Trophy Guide, you should continue to play matches, either Solo or with friends.

However, your objective now is not to win or even try to place highly in your matches. Instead, you need to work your way through each of the seven base-game archetypes and use each archetype’s ability to fulfill some trophy requirements.

Some of these trophies are much more difficult than others, and you can expect to spend several long hours playing matches repeatedly just to land a hit or two with each ability.

Nice work, Bruh

Stun 25 players with the Brujah Vandal Earth Shock ability

Online Multiplayer

The Brujah Vandal’s Earth Shock ability is supposed to stun an enemy; however, you will quickly notice that all it really does is push them back a little and blocks them from doing anything for what seems like 0.5 seconds or less, which makes this ability unviable as an offensive skill.

You are also awarded no invincibility frames while using the ability, which means you will often die between pressing and connecting the ability with the opponent on the other side.

To hit 25 players with the Earth Shock Ability, it’s better to sneak up and catch them unaware or use the ability as an opener to the battle.

You’ll receive loads of damage while using it if your opponent has good aim but if you connect with them then the trophy counter will tick up.

Holding will show you a projection so you can aim the ability, which is very good for when you find a player who hasn’t spotted you yet.

The best strategy I could come up with for this trophy was to play Solo mode and target the nearest enemy player with the ability. If I died from this recklessness, I would still have an extra life with which I could land at least one more use of the ability.

With my goal being simply to land two hits with the Earth Shock ability per match, I began progressing this trophy much faster, sometimes landing as many as five hits per match.

You wanna make an omelette, you gotta break some eggs

Block 1500 damage with the Brujah Brute Shockwave Punch ability

Online Multiplayer

The Brujah Brute Shockwave Punch ability is quite a helpful utility during battle as it blocks bullets from getting through to you, but your bullets can pass through and hit the enemy. It also pushes enemies back who are hit by it—hopefully into the red smoke—and travels in a straight line for a few seconds before disappearing.

Unlike the other Brujah ability, this one is easier to use against players as most fights happen at medium to close range, and the ability happens instantly after pressing . This trophy shouldn’t take more than a handful of matches to unlock.

You’ll be pleased to know you can also use this ability against Entity (AI Enemies). If you block bullets fired by Entity Soldiers, the damage blocked will be added towards the trophy progress.

Here is the peace in death I could not give you in life

Reveal 25 enemies with the Nosferatu Prowler Scouting Famulus ability

The Nosferatu Prowler Scouting Fumulus ability is very useful in Trios. It sends out a cluster of bats that tags any player who enters the ability’s radius, making the fight a little easier as you will be able to see the silhouette of revealed players through objects and walls. The ability will also reveal them on your minimap.

I recommend playing Solo game modes to progress this trophy. Just slink around silently until you spot an enemy player and then press to fire the bats at them and reveal them.

If you want to be really safe, you could just retreat after you’ve marked a player, without fighting them, and then look for another player to mark.

If you spend whole matches doing this, you should be able to reach a total of 25 enemies revealed fairly quickly and unlock the “Here is the peace in death I could not give you in life” trophy.

I am a shadow, one that no light will shine on

Deal 1500 damage with Nosferatu Saboteur Sewer Bomb ability

Online Multiplayer

The Sewer Bomb ability—available when using the Nosferatu Saboteur Archetype—allows you to press to throw down a poison gas proximity bomb which explodes when enemy players and enemy AI enter the red radius around it.

To unlock the “I am a shadow, one that no light will shine on,” you need to deal a cumulative total of 1500 damage throughout your time playing the game.

To be clear, you don’t need to achieve this with one bomb or even in one match.

This ability trophy is much easier than others for one main reason; you can progress this trophy by using your Sewer Bomb ability on AI enemies. Enter an Entity encampment and press to throw a Sewer Bomb directly at an Entity Soldier to immediately trigger the bomb and damage the enemy with a gas cloud.

Repeat until the trophy unlocks.

They’re all dead. They just don’t know it yet

Blind 25 players with the Toreador Siren Blinding Beauty ability

Online Multiplayer

The Toreador Siren Archetype has the unique ability to blind nearby players within a radius around the Siren.

To unlock the “They’re all dead. They just don’t know it yet” trophy, you will need to use this “Blinding Beauty” ability to blind a total of 25 players throughout your time playing the game.

You do not need to blind 25 players with a single use or even blind 25 players in a single match.

My strategy for this trophy is the same as the strategy I employed for the Brujah Vandal Earth Shock ability, which is to play Solo game modes and aim to at least blind one player with each life. This way, I could ensure I blind at least two players per match.

Heal 2500 health with the Toreador Muse Rejuvenating Voice ability

Online Co-op

Online Multiplayer

While playing as a Toreador Muse Archetype, you can press to generate a healing field around you. The ability will persist until you take damage, run, or pull out a weapon.

While the healing field is present, all allies (including you) within the area will gradually be healed to full health.

To unlock the “A revolution without dancing is a revolution not worth having” trophy, you need to heal for a cumulative total of 2,500 Health Points throughout your time playing the game.

Power is life to our kind

Charge into 25 players with the Ventrue Enforcer Unyielding Charge ability

Online Multiplayer

The Ventrue Enforcer Archetype has the unique ability to charge at enemies when you press . This charge attack will deal a small amount of damage but will also silence whoever the attack connects with, preventing them from using their own abilities.

To unlock the “Power is life to our kind” trophy, you will need to hit a cumulative total of 25 players with the Enforcer’s attack.

My strategy for this trophy is the same as the strategy I employed for the Brujah Vandal Earth Shock ability, which is to play Solo game modes and aim to at least hit one player in each of my two lives. This way, I could ensure I hit at least two players per match.

Phase Three | Down 25 Players with Each Weapon Type

In the third phase of this Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt Trophy Guide, now you’ll want to focus more on what weapons you use in a match.

Again, you don’t need to win during this phase of our guide or even do well, but you will need to down players.

Downing players can be difficult, especially since they always seem to do more damage no matter what you do to get the upper hand. Playing with Crossplay enabled can make things even more complicated as you will be matched up with PC players who have far more accuracy and speed than any player using a gamepad.

I’d advise turning Crossplay off but just be aware that this will likely slow down matchmaking.

Your main objective during this phase is to down 25 players with each weapon type; Low Caliber, High Caliber, Precision, Crossbows, Shotguns, and Melee.

You will likely have made progress on many of these already, so just keep playing matches and doing your best to down enemy players with a range of weaponry.

Phase Four | Player Level 50 & Cleanup

In this final phase of our Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt Trophy Guide, it’s time for us to clean up all remaining trophies, including Primogen, which requires you to earn enough EXP to reach Player Level 50.

Most other trophies are relatively simple, kill AI enemies, enter stores, gather blood resonances; all stuff you will likely have been doing a lot up to this point.

Grind

Online

You will need to achieve the ultimate goal of reaching Player Level 50 to unlock the Primogen trophy.

You will earn EXP at the end of each match based on how well you did. If you’re someone who is good at the game and can easily take down most other players, you should earn EXP quite quickly for downs, eliminations, and damage dealt to players.

However, if you’re like me and don’t tend to get too many downs per match, you can also earn EXP in large chunks by completing Daily and Seasonal challenges, which is a much easier way to gain EXP quickly.

The EXP you gain will go towards your Battle Pass level, Player Level, and Archetype Level, but we just need to focus on your Player Level for this trophy.

When your Player Level reaches 50, the long-winded grind for the Primogen trophy will come to an end.

Somebody wanna call a goddamn paramedic?

Revive a teammate

Online Co-op

Online Multiplayer

For the “Somebody wanna call a goddamn paramedic?” trophy, you will need to revive a downed teammate. This can only be done when playing team-based game modes, so you will not be able to achieve this trophy playing solo game modes.

When a teammate’s health is reduced to 0, they will drop to the ground. If they can avoid enemies until the timer expires, they can get back up. But if an enemy attacks or “Diablerizes” them, they’ll die.

To get a teammate back on their feet quicker, you can approach them while they’re downed and hold to revive them. Doing this for the first time will unlock the trophy.

Online Multiplayer

When a teammate dies fully, they can be brought back if you head to a respawn station and hold . If the red mist has progressed too far, however, all respawn stations may have been engulfed, preventing you from accessing them and forcing you to conclude the match without teammates.

Dead teammates can press to ping the nearest accessible respawn station, helping you locate one. They are also marked on the map with a unique icon. Revive a teammate in this way to unlock the “LIVE.DIE.REPEAT” trophy.

Diablerize 25 enemies

Online Multiplayer

Whenever you down an enemy player in a Bloodhunt match, they will be dropped to their knees, where they can wait for a player to revive them or they can get back up if they wait out an on-screen timer.

To prevent a player from getting up, you can continue to attack them until they die, or you can “Diablerize” them.

Diablerizing an enemy player will give you full health, but it takes a short while, during which time you’ll be exposed to fire from other players, so you’ll want to be wary of your surroundings when you do this.

Diablerize 25 enemy players by approaching them while they’re down and holding . Doing so will unlock this trophy.

Equip a Legendary weapon

Online Multiplayer

Legendary Weapons have a gold color, indicating their high rarity. Legendary weapons do the most damage and are extremely valuable.

There are two main ways to get Legendary Weapons in a match. The easiest way to get a Legendary Weapon is to just pick one up from the body of a killed enemy or teammate. Your teammates can even drop one for you while they’re alive by pressing , highlighting the Legendary Weapon, and then pressing .

The other way is to get lucky and find one in a gold chest. Each match, there are several gold chests across the map, which typically contain purple or gold weapons. If you can get to one first and fast, you may get lucky.

The chest I always go for is on the second floor of the Rudolfinium on the west side of the map.

Enter via the balcony on the west side of the building and then follow the corridor to the back of the building to find the Gold Chest.

Alternatively, if you find your self spawned outside the Entity camp and you would like a safer route to the Gold Chest that also gives you an opportunity to stock up on loot you can look for some steps that lead down into an underground parking lot.

Inside the parking lot will be some loot in the left corner near the stairs, inside an orange van, and to the right of an elevator shaft on the far back wall.

Once you’ve looted the underground parking lot, you can head back up to street level via the ramp in the far left corner and head up to the balcony mentioned earlier and grab the chest.

Though a more direct option would be to climb the elevator shaft, which connects to the lobby of the Rudolfinuim, and head up the stairs to get to the Gold Chest.

Enter 25 Pharmacies

Online

You can find pharmacies at medical cross icons on the map. They contain blood bags and syringes hidden behind posters on the pharmacy walls.

These pharmacies can be broken into, but doing so will set off an alarm, alerting other players to your location.

It’s best to look for Pharmacies that have already been opened by other players, but if you want to speed things up, you could just disregard your own in-game life and make a beeline for the pharmacies each match.

Once you’ve entered 25 Pharmacies (regardless of whether or not you opened them yourself), the “Winners don’t use drugs” trophy will unlock.

First Blood

Gain max blood resonances of a single type in a game

Online

In Bloodhunt, you can feed on mortal human NPCs to gain “Blood Resonance” by approaching them and holding .

Blood Resonances are buffs that will offer you some slight advantage throughout the match. There are four different types of Blood Resonance, as detailed in the table below:

ResonanceColorBuff
PhlegmaticBlueReduces the cooldown on your Archetype () skill by 10%, 25%, and 50%, respectively.
MelancholicPurpleReduces the cooldown on your Clan () skill by 10%, 25%, and 50%, respectively.
SanguinePinkAllows you to regenerate health at a rate of 0.5 HP, 1.5 HP, and 3.0 HP per second, respectively.
CholericOrangeIncreases Melee Damage by 10%, 25%, and 50%, respectively.

The maximum number of resonances you can have in a single resonance type is 3, thus unlocking the maximum possible buff for that resonance.

In order to unlock the “First Blood” trophy, you will need to max out any single resonance by feeding on mortals.

You can also apply perks to your archetype from the Archetype menu in The Elysium, some of which will let you start a match with two resonances of a single type already active.

Trophy Image
Trophy Image
Maybe add some Fava beans and a nice chianti

Gain one of each blood resonance in a single game

Online

“Maybe add some Fava beans and a nice chianti” is a trophy that is very similar to “First Blood” in that it asks you to feed on Mortal NPCs to gain Blood Resonances.

However, the main difference with this trophy is that you will need to gain one of each Blood Resonance. The difficulty there is that you can only gain 3 Blood Resonances by default, so how can you possibly get all four?

Well, when you Diablerize an opponent or Feed on a downed Entity AI enemy, you will gain another Blood Resonance slot.

Obviously, the easiest method here is to just feed on an Entity soldier, like those outside the Rudolfinium.

Once you’ve done this at least once, make your way around the map looking for one of each Blood Resonance type and feeding on mortals.

You can press to send out a sonar pulse which allows you to see nearby Mortals and what color Blood Resonance they have (if any).

Get one of each Blood Resonance in a single match to unlock this trophy.

Trapped in a never-ending spiral of life and death

Survive a bloodhunt

Online

In Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt, when you kill a mortal or a mortal sees you feeding on another, you will enter a “Bloodhunt,” during which there will be a timer on-screen.

While being bloodhunted, you will be visible to all players in the match. They will not only be able to see you on their radars, but they will be able to see your silhouette through solid objects.

This is obviously a very undesirable position to be in, especially when playing Solo. Still, if you can survive until the timer ends, the Bloodhunt will end, and you’ll no longer be highlighted to other players.

Surviving a Bloodhunt for the first time will unlock the “Trapped in a never-ending spiral of life and death” trophy.

Come quietly, or there will be trouble!

Kill 50 Entity

Online

Entity Soldiers are AI enemies which will shoot you on sight and can be found at various Entity encampments on the map, such as the one outside the Rudolfinium on the west side of the map.

All you need to do for the “Come quietly, or there will be trouble!” trophy is kill 50 of these AI enemies. They are not difficult to kill compared to players; just be sure to use cover effectively.

From Prague to Malmö

Traverse 836 km in total

Glitched/Buggy

Online

In order to unlock the “From Prague to Malmo” trophy, you will need to travel a cumulative total of 836 kilometers in your time playing Bloodhunt.

This should build up over time and will unlock naturally through repeated gameplay.

At the time of writing, however, this trophy is glitched. The devs are aware of the glitch, which should be fixed fairly soon. Essentially, the bug makes it so that only kilometers you’ve traveled in games where you finish in either 2nd or 1st position will count towards this trophy, making it take far longer than necessary.

A drink to our legs

Shark bait

Online

Along the west edge of the map, there’s a large body of water. The best place to spawn if you want to grab this trophy is the southwest edge of the map, near the “Harbor.”

From there, you can just turn around and jump over the railing into the water.

You will die instantly when you enter the water in Vampire: Masquerade – Bloodhunt. The way the developers have chosen to have you die is fairly unique, and doing so for the first time will unlock the “A drink to our legs” trophy.
