Rush Rover Trophy Guide and Road Map

Rush Rover is a fast-paced top-down shoot-em-up which, with a little skill, can be platted in just 30 minutes. Maybe even less with this Rush Rover Trophy Guide.

One piece of advice I have is for you to go into the “Auxiliary Settings” from the main menu and activate “Aim Assist”, “Show Hitbox”, and “Cooldown Time Reminder”. These assists will slightly reduce the skill needed to earn these trophies.

Phase One – Play Arcade Mode

There are two main objectives we have here in Arcade mode.

Firstly, you need to complete five whole rooms without getting hit. These rooms are short enough that this shouldn’t be too difficult, and you can upgrade youself by pressing to open the upgrade menu, which will help to ensure your unscathed survival.

Additionally, you need to defeat all enemies in all 5 areas under the time limit (orange timer at top centre of HUD) to unlock all three Blitz trophies.

It is possible to fail the Unscathed or Blitz conditions in the fourth area, and just play a sixth area to make up for it. For example, if you struggle against the boss and take damage, you can just complete an extra room to still reach a total of 5 unscathed stages, they don’t have to be consecutive.

You do need to get all 5 of each in a single run, dying will reset your progress and it is not cumulative.

There is also 4 miscellaneous trophies you will be guaranteed to earn if you make it far enough to unlock Blitz and Unscathed Gold.

Blitz Trophies

As explained, the following trophies will be earned by killing all enemies in a level under the time limit set by the orange clock at the top center of your screen. There’s a trophy for doing so on 1, 3, and 5 stages respectively. Each threshold must be met in a single run and the totals are not cumulative.

Blitz Bronze

Finished blitz 1 time in one game

Blitz silver

Finished blitz 3 times in one game

Blitz gold

Finished blitz 5 times in one game

Unscathed Trophies

As explained, the following trophies are unlocked by completing stages without getting hit. There are trophies for doing so on 1, 3, and 5 stages respectively. Each threshold must be met in a single run and the totals are not cumulative.

Unscathed bronze

Get unscathed 1 time in one game

Unscathed silver

Get unscathed 3 times in one game

Unscathed Gold

Get unscathed 5 times in one game

Miscellaneous Trophies

These misc trophies for killing a set number of enemies, as well as the first boss, will be guaranteed to unlock if you make it far enough to get the Gold Blitz and Unscathed trophies.

Reaper bronze

Eliminate 10 robots in one game

Reaper silver

Eliminate 20 robots in one game

Reaper gold

Eliminate 30 robots in one game

Guardian

Killed a Guardian

Phase Two – Play Dodge Mode

There’s only one objective in Dodge Mode: Survive!

To unlock the “Dodge Gold” trophy, you’ll need to stay alive in Dodge Mode for 45 seconds in a single run. Press at the terminal at the start of the stage and select the first Challenge.

You cannot shoot in Dodge Mode, but can still dodge with use of . You’ll be able to take up to 5 hits before you get a game over in this mode, and health pickups do sometimes spawn.

Once you reach the 45 second mark, simply allow yourself to be killed and the trophy will unlock when the score is registered.

Dodge Mode Trophies

By registering a Dodge Mode survival score of 45 seconds or better, you’ll get the following three trophies.

Dodge bronze

Survival 25 seconds in the dodge challenge

Dodge silver

Survival 35 seconds in the dodge challenge

Dodge gold

Survival 45 seconds in the dodge challenge

Plat Get!

Platinum Rover

Get all the trophies

After achieving the requirements for all 3 sets of trophies as well as the miscellaneous trophies, your final reward will be this Platinum Trophy.
