Welcome to our Life Is Strange: True Colors Trophy Guide. In this guide, you will find strategies and tips for unlocking every trophy on your way to the platinum. We have broken the journey up into easily digestible phases with expert information packed into each one. With this, anyone should be able to conquer this game and its challenges.

Phase One – Blind Playthrough for Fun (optional)

During this phase of our Life Is Strange: True Colors Trophy Guide, you should take things slow. Hit play and just enjoy the story as nothing is missable; everything can be mopped up after the credits via Chapter Select.

Life is Strange: True Colors is a heavily narrative-focused game. As such, any attempts to follow a guide to get everything in one playthrough would only serve to spoil upcoming events in each chapter. However, if you’d prefer to only complete a single playthrough, continue to Phase Two.

Phase One Trophies

I Thought I Could Hunter The Monster is an unmissable story trophy. It will unlock at the end of Chapter 1.

Something You Build is an unmissable story trophy. It will unlock at the end of Chapter 2.

I Burying Something is an unmissable story trophy. It will unlock at the end of Chapter 3.

The Kind of Thing You Can’t Undo is an unmissable story trophy. It will unlock at the end of Chapter 4.

The Only Promise is The Adventure is an unmissable story trophy. It will unlock at the end of Chapter 5.

Phase Two – Find All Memories & Complete the Side Quests

Phase Two of our Life Is Strange: True Colors guide can be completed during your first playthrough, or after with the help of Chapter Select.

When using Chapter Select, you can also choose which scene to start from. You can see how many Memories in each scene you have collected, and how many you don’t yet have. There are four Side Quests—two in Chapter 2, one in Chapter 3, and one in Chapter 4—that you also need to complete. However, Side Quests can’t be tracked like the Memories can; you will have to look at your trophy list to see which Side Quest you’re missing. Either way, you can consult our Collectible guide to find every Memory and Side Quest.

Phase Two Trophies

The “Crack” can be found in Chapter 1 during the scene “I’m Okay”. See Haven Historian.

The “Riley Letter” can be found in Chapter 1 during the scene “I’m Okay”. See Haven Historian.

The “Business Card” can be found in Chapter 1 during the scene “First Day on the Job”. See Haven Historian.

The “Helmet” can be found in Chapter 1 during the scene “Searching for Ethan”. See Haven Historian.

The “Phone” can be found in Chapter 1 during the scene “Searching for Ethan”. See Haven Historian.

Emotional Enthusiast will unlock at the end of the chapter if you managed to find all Chapter 1 Memories.

The “Rent Check” can be found in Chapter 2 during the scene “Tracking Down Mac”. See Haven Historian.

The “Umbrella” can be found in Chapter 2 during the scene “Tracking Down Mac”. See Haven Historian.

The “T-Shirt” can be found in Chapter 2 during the scene “Tracking Down Mac”. See Haven Historian.

The “Gummies” can be found in Chapter 2 during the scene “Tracking Down Mac”. See Haven Historian.

The “Button” can be found in Chapter 2 during the scene “Tracking Down Mac”. See Haven Historian.

To unlock Found Dog!, help the “Hoodie Guy” in Steph’s record shop in Chapter 2. This can be done during the scene, “Tracking Down Mac”.

To unlock Bird Spotting, help the “Birdwatcher” with binoculars in the park in Chapter 2. This can be done during the scene, “Tracking Down Mac”.

Amateur Archaeophile will unlock at the end of the chapter if you managed to find all Chapter 2 Memories.

To unlock Earworm Squasher, help the “Student” in the bar at the start of Chapter 3. This can be done during the scene, “It’s a Simple Plan”.

The “Bomber Jacket” can be found in Chapter 3 during the scene “It’s a Simple Plan”. See Haven Historian.

The “Dollar” can be found in Chapter 3 during the scene “Thaynor, Monster Slayer”. See Haven Historian.

The “Appointment Slip” can be found in Chapter 3 during the scene “Thaynor, Monster Slayer”. See Haven Historian.

The “Old Paper” can be found in Chapter 3 during the scene “Thaynor, Monster Slayer”. See Haven Historian.

The “Valkyrie’s Dish” can be found in Chapter 3 during the scene “Thaynor, Monster Slayer”. See Haven Historian.

Memory Collector will unlock at the end of the chapter if you managed to find all Chapter 3 Memories.

To unlock Exactly 731, help the “Jelly Bean Counter” (a.k.a “Hoodie Guy”) guess the right amount of jelly beans in Chapter 4. This can be done during the scene, “The Spring Festival”.

The “Drum Kit” can be found in Chapter 4 during the scene “The Spring Festival”. See Haven Historian.

The “CIT Sticker” can be found in Chapter 4 during the scene “The Spring Festival”. See Haven Historian.

The “Microphone” can be found in Chapter 4 during the scene “The Spring Festival”. See Haven Historian.

The “Pressed Rose” can be found in Chapter 4 during the scene “Party Time”. See Haven Historian.

The “Polaroid” can be found in Chapter 4 during the scene “The Spring Festival”. See Haven Historian.

Emotional Archeologist will unlock at the end of the chapter if you managed to find all Chapter 4 Memories.

The “Mom’s Keys” can be found in Chapter 5 during the scene “The Hospital Room”. See Haven Historian.

The “Business Card” can be found in Chapter 5 during the scene “Home Sweet Home”. See Haven Historian.

The “Guitar Strings” can be found in Chapter 5 during the scene “Nobody Picked You”. See Haven Historian.

The “Pendant” is automatically picked up in Chapter 5 during the scene “Nothing Stays Buried Forever”. See Haven Historian.

The “Bomber Jacket” can be found in Chapter 5 during the scene “A Knock at the Door”. See Haven Historian.

Emotional Unearthing will unlock at the end of the chapter if you managed to find all Chapter 5 Memories.

To unlock Haven Historian, you have to find all Memory Collectibles. That is objects you found that you had to hold + on them to “pick up”. It’s also worth noting that you have to have an internet connection for this trophy to pop. This could be a glitch or working as intended. Either way, don’t “pick up” your last collectible unless you’re connected online.

Platget!

After the final cutscene (providing you found all Memories and completed all Side Quests in one playthrough), the last trophy will pop.

Once you have acquired every other trophy in our Life Is Strange: True Colors Trophy Guide, the platinum will unlock.
