Trophy Guide
Inscryption Trophy Guide and Road Map for PS4 & PS5
Welcome to our Inscryption Trophy Guide. Inscryption is a creepy horror-themed card-based game with addictive, yet challenging, gameplay and an unnerving graphical style.
Throughout the game, the mechanics will be delicately and comfortably introduced to you, allowing you to ease yourself into the unsettling world of Inscryption one match at a time.
Though it will benefit you to have previous knowledge of similar card games like Yu-Gi-Oh, you will settle in just fine as long as you actually pay attention to what the game is teaching you along the way.
The trophy journey is around 25 hours long and will certainly feel like a slog at times as you ease your way up the learning curve, but it’s nothing that can’t be overcome with a bit of practice and a dash of luck. Prepare to have your mind blown a little along the way, too, as you see it evolve over and over.
Phase One | Complete the Story
In this first phase of our Inscryption Trophy Guide, your sole objective will just be to complete the story and learn the game’s mechanics. Absolutely nothing is missable so you can simply put concerns about trophies to one side for now and simply enjoy yourself.
You’ll inevitably pick up a few trophies along the way, but you needn’t really concern yourself with them.
The gameplay throughout your playthrough will vary an impressive amount. Just when you’ve finally surpassed the gruelling roguelike in the first Act, you’ll be thrust into an entirely different deck-building mini-RPG, followed by another. Each time you complete the game, it evolves in some way.
Fortunately, the experience is very smooth and not at all disorienting. The developers majestically navigate this complex web of mechanics for you, so you can just sit back and enjoy each new mechanic as and when it’s served to you.
One thing I’ll say is to not get too complacent, however. Throughout the game, there are many secrets and puzzles which will not only progress the story forward, but some will award you with resources and cards you’ll come to find invaluable.
If you find yourself stuck, read through the trophies in this phase, as the instructions I provide will likely be the solutions you need to progress.
While you’re in each Act of the game, there are various selections of semi-missable trophies to look out for. You can use Chapter Select in the post-game to clean up, but it is quite a lot easier if you get some of them out of the way before advancing in each Act.
Unmissable Story Trophies
Blood Artist
Complete your first Deathcard.
Every time you die in Inscryption, you will be made to create a new card using the stats of your current deck, a name of your choosing, and a photo of your character right before they die.
You will then have to start fresh but with this Death Card (and any others) now in circulation in the game.
Creating a Death Card for the first time, an entirely unavoidable experience, will result in you earning the Blood Artist trophy.
Innocuous Insect
Free a Stinkbug from the safe.
At a certain point in the story, the Stoat Card will tell you there’s a secret hidden in the book to your left. Leave the board by pushing down and then turn left and open the book. Inside, you’ll find the code “273.”
This code will open the safe, containing the Stinkbug, who will be in your starting deck for every subsequent game. The Innocuous Insect trophy will unlock as soon as you pick it up.
Note that there’s also a key in this safe, which opens a box behind the mysterious stranger. Inside, there are four puzzles that will add new cards into play if you complete them.
Uncage the Menagerie
Free the Wolf Statue from its cage.
First, after retrieving the StinkBug and the Key from the Safe, use it to open the large box behind the mysterious stranger.
Inside, there are 4 puzzles for you to complete. Each puzzle you complete will award you a new item or card which will enter circulation in subsequent games.
Complete all four puzzles by setting them up so that you deal five total damage to the opponent in one turn. There’s no punishment for setting up the puzzles incorrectly so you can just trial and error different combinations until something works for each one.
Or just follow these solutions:
Puzzle 1:
2 – 1 | 1 – 3 | 1 – 3 | 1 – 3 |
Puzzle 2:
2 – 1 | 1 – 2 | 1 – 2 | |
1 – 2 | |||
1 – 2 | 3 – 2 | 1 – 3 | |
2 – 3 | 2 – 1 |
Puzzle 3:
# – 2 | 1 – 2 | ||
1 – 2 | 1 – 2 | ||
# – 2 | # – 2 | 2 – 3 | # – 2 |
# – 2 |
Puzzle 4:
1 – 2 | 1 – 2 | ||
1 – 2 | 1 – 2 | ||
1 – 1 | 1 – 1 | 3 – 2 | |
1 – 1 |
With all four puzzles completed, one of the cards you will have released into play is the Caged Wolf card.
Play Inscryption as normal until you pull the Caged Wolf card and then play it in battle by placing it in front of a non-flying enemy card.
The non-flying enemy will hit the wolf’s cage until its health points are depleted, breaking the cage and freeing the wolf. In this same moment, the caged wolf figurine behind the mysterious stranger will also become uncaged, and you will unlock the “Uncage the Menagerie” trophy!
Ancestral Vision
Fill your empty socket with something magical.
After you have the Wolf Statue from Uncage the Menagerie, place it next to the Mouse Statue near the wall on the right-hand side. This will release the knife in the contraption, adding it to your items for all subsequent matches in Act 1.
When you use the knife, you will actually cut your own eye out, adding it to the scales to push yourself ahead a few points. It can really come in handy for those close-call games.
When you use the item, if you manage to win the match in which you removed your eye, the Mysterious Stranger will offer you a selection of replacement eyes.
Select the upper-left eye to unlock the “Ancestral Vision” trophy and gain special vision which will help you solve the Cuckoo Clock puzzle on the wall behind you.
Reborn Hope
Find a spare film roll.
Once you have the ability to see hidden messages from Ancestral Vision, get up from the table with and then turn and face the cuckoo clock behind you.
Unsurprisingly, you can now see the solution to the clock puzzle clearly drawn on the front. Using the knobs at the top of the clock, turn the hands so that they match the arrow symbols around the face.
Once done correctly, the front of the clock will open, revealing a new card. This is the third and final talking card you need to find and it will remain in your starter deck for all subsequent games in Act 1.
Once you collect it, it will tell you to grab the Film Roll which is also in the clock’s hidden compartment. Grabbing this will immediately unlock the Reborn Hope trophy.
With this Film Reel, you can defeat the Mysterious Stranger once and for all. You just need to reach the end of his game and beat him.
Miner's Bane
Defeat The Prospector.
The Prospector is the first of three main bosses in Leshy’s Cabin (Act 1). By reaching and defeating this boss at the end of Leshy’s first map for the very first time, you will receive the Miner’s Bane trophy!
Grizzled Angler
Defeat The Angler.
The Angler is the second of three main bosses in Leshy’s Cabin (Act 1). By reaching and defeating this boss at the end of Leshy’s second map for the very first time, you will receive the Grizzled Angler trophy!
Face to Face
Defeat The Trapper and The Trader.
The Trapper & The Trader are the third of three main bosses in Leshy’s Cabin (Act 1). By reaching and defeating this boss at the end of Leshy’s third map for the very first time, you will receive the Face to Face trophy!
Enduring Victory
Defeat Leshy.
Leshy is the Mysterious Stranger. To unlock the “Enduring Victory” trophy, you need to defeat them. But I mean really defeat them.
Besting Leshy won’t mean anything if you don’t have the Film Roll from the Cuckoo Clock, so make sure you have the Reborn Hope trophy.
Then, just get fortunate enough in Leshy’s rogue-like game to reach and defeat him in the cabin at the end.
Renewal
Start a new game.
After defeating Leshy, you will find yourself in a confusing and confined space. At the back of this room, however, there is a playing card that looks very much like the icon for this trophy. It seems Leshy had it locked up in here.
Collect the card and then pause the game with . Select “Return to Title” and you’ll see that the “New Game” option, which was greyed-out when we first started the game, is now available to select.
Use it to start a “New Game,” thus beginning Act 2 of the game’s campaign, in which the mechanics change dramatically. I recommend choosing Leshy’s deck at the start of this phase since you’ll already know how blood and sacrifices work.
Doomed Necromancer
Complete the Temple of the Dead.
The Temple of the Dead is the south-east location on Act 2’s map, accessible from the beginning. To unlock the “Doomed Necromancer” trophy, you will need to beat Grimora inside the Temple.
It’s recommended that you explore as much as you can and interact with lots of objects, many of which contain card packs. Don’t be afraid to try and walk off-track on the world map, either, as there are a few hidden areas.
Another good strategy is to have the game re-organise your deck for you. Press and then select “Edit Deck” on the far right. Press to delete your current deck and then press to have it build you a recommended deck. This worked so well for me that I never actually did any manual deck-building.
Avenging Druid
Complete the Temple of Beasts.
Accomplished Automaton
Complete the Temple of Technology.
The “Temple of Technology” is the laboratory in the northwest location on the map. To cross the bridge and reach it, however, you will need to defeat either Leshy or Grimora. Once ready, cross the bridge, enter the temple, complete the puzzle to face P03, and then defeat him in a game of Inscryption to unlock the Accomplished Automaton trophy.
Wizard Mentor
Complete the Temple of Magicks.
The “Temple of Magicks” is the tower in the southwest location on the map, across the bridge. Go there, complete the puzzle to face Magnificus, and then defeat them in a game of Inscryption to unlock the Wizard Mentor trophy.
Balance of Power
Allow P03 to gain control of Inscryption.
No matter what you do and the choices you make up to this point, regardless of what the dialogue likes to imply, once you return to the four altars at the center of the map in Act 2 after defeating all 4 bosses, you will end up fighting P03.
During this fight, he drops a corrupt playing card onto the field. Attacking it gives him access to the game, allowing him to modify it, which is actually what we want.
As soon as you get the chance, attack the card to trigger Act 3 of the main campaign, where the game becomes an amalgamation of Act 1 and Act 2; the game is tabletop and you play inside a room you can navigate, but there is a persistent map layout, identical to the map layout in Act 2, and you get access to checkpoints.
Entering Act 3 will also unlock the “Balance of Power” trophy.
Rank and File
Defeat The Archivist.
The Archivist is one of the four “Uberbot” bosses you need to defeat to progress in Act 3 of the story. They can be found in the southeast, where the Temple of the Dead would be.
The trick to this Uberbot is that they allow you to browse the fake file-system of the computer’s owner. From there, you can select files that get added to the scale. Heavier files obviously benefit you the most, and allow you to survive the onslaught of bots a bit better.
The D: drive contains a 2GB file, a 1GB file, and two 800-900MB files which are perfect for this fight.
Later in the fight, you’ll be asked to choose an old file. There’s one in there from the year 1018 which is about as old a file as you can get, even if it’s almost certainly not really from 1018.
If this card dies (or you discard it with the hammer ) you will also unlock the Agonizing Remorse trophy.
Essence Capture
Defeat The Photographer.
The Archivist is one of the four “Uberbot” bosses you need to defeat to progress in Act 3 of the story. They can be found in the northeast, where Leshy’s Cabin would be.
The trick to this boss is that they let you take a photo of the board at the end of each turn. You can skip the opportunity by pressing to keep your current photo, press to replace your current photo, or to return the board (and only the board) to the state it was in when the photo was taken.
Painter's Servant
Defeat The Unfinished Boss.
The Unfinished Boss is one of the four “Uberbot” bosses you need to defeat to progress in Act 3 of the story. They can be found in the southwest, where the Magic Tower would be.
The trick to this boss is that they let you decide the rules of the game. Pretty good as long as you pick the right ones. The three that worked for me were as follows:
- Every time I play a card, the opponent plays a L33PB0T
- Every time it’s my turn, the opponent plays a L33pB0T
- Every time it’s my turn, the opponent gains a shield
They proved to be the least damaging rule combinations overall.
Natural Connection
Defeat G0lly.
G0lly is one of the four “Uberbot” bosses you need to defeat to progress in Act 3 of the story. They can be found in the northwest, where P03’s Lab would be.
The gimmick to this fight is that she pulls in images “from the internet” and also names some of her cards after your friends. The friends you have don’t seem to affect their stats, and she’ll just make some up if you don’t have any anyway.
Halfway through the fight, however, you will get an opportunity to create a card “for someone else.” After she fails to send the card over the internet (even if your internet is good), she will let you keep the card. So you’re actually making one for yourself.
Murder
Witness the death of P03.
Complete the events of Act 3 to unavoidably receive the “Murder” trophy at the end.
Dramatic Finale
Complete the finale of Inscryption.
After you earn the “Murder” trophy, the penultimate moments of the story will play out before you and you’ll finally reach the ending. Upon completion of the story campaign, you’ll receive the Dramatic Finale trophy!
Phase Two | Story Cleanup
After the credits of Inscryption, you’ll be shown the Kam Werks interface again. Along the top of the screen there are 5 options;
A new game from the start, a new game from Act One, a new game from Act Two, a new game from Act Three, and a new game from the Finale. This is where Phase Two of our Inscryption trophy guide begins!
Using the center three options to revisit each of the three main Acts, collect any of the 9 semi-missable trophies below that you have missed in their respective Acts. If you already have them all, you can move on to Phase Three of our Inscryption Trophy Guide!
Act One Semi-Missable Trophies
Squirrel Wrangler
Win a battle with damage from Squirrels.
The Squirrel Wrangler trophy can only be unlocked in Act 1, Leshy’s Cabin. The key to unlocking it is the small wooden totems you can earn.
First, you will need the Squirrel totem head, which is hidden in the drawers behind Leshy.
Once you have it, you can use it to build totems that add special traits to any Squirrel card that you draw!
The totem you want looks like this. The icon for the skill is a sundial with a small “1” next to it. This indicates that after 1 turn, the creature will become stronger. When a Squirrel becomes stronger in this way, they have 2HP and deal 1 damage per turn.
Once you have the ability to grow Elder Squirrels in this way, you essentially need to win a match by using them. It would appear that the winning blow against your opponent must be dealt (at least in part) by the Elder Squirrel card.
Gruesome Encore
Allow The Mycologists to experiment on a creature that is already itself an experiment.
During Act 1, when you land on a Mushroom icon in Leshy’s game, you will visit the Mycologists. The Mycologists are an NPC who will fuse two cards of the same type into a super card with double the original card’s power and health.
To unlock the “Gruesome Encore” trophy, you will need to find the Mycologists twice in the same run. The first time you visit them, you must fuse two cards of the same creature. When done, you will then have to find another one of that same card and then visit the Mycologists again.
On your second visit, fuse the previously-fused card with a matching card (fused or unfused). Once the procedure is complete, the trophy will unlock!
Role Reversal
Steal back one of your creatures from The Angler.
During the Angler Boss Fight in Act 1, Leshy’s Cabin, he will steal your cards occasionally by labeling one with a hook icon and then moving it up to his side of the board at the end of his turn.
After defeating the Angler for the first time, you will start every run with a hook in your inventory. This hook allows you to do the very same thing the Angler was doing to you! It can only be used once per run, though.
To unlock the “Role Reversal” trophy, save the hook until you reach the Angler Boss Fight again, wait for him to hook and steal one of your cards, but then use the hook to steal it back on your very next turn.
Act Two Semi-Missable Trophies
Collective Effort
Collect every card in the Original Inscryption.
By “The Original Inscryption” the game means Act 2, where none of the Scrybes have control of the game. During this Act of the game, you can keep any cards that you receive and they’re added to a deck manager mapped to !
You can view the game’s full collection and how many of them you are missing via the book next to the trapper in the Wizard’s Tower. As the book is divided up by Card Set, you can see which set you’re missing cards from. You can then go to the trapper in the corresponding region to buy a booster pack from them for that set, in the hopes of filling the gap in your collection.
You need Foils to buy booster packs, though. Fortunately, Foils can be farmed on the Training Dummy in the Wizard’s Tower, on the second floor:
The Dummy never fights back, so you can set things up perfectly to result in you getting lots of Foils. One foil is earned for every point of over-damage you do to your opponent with your winning blow. It takes 5 points to win, so if you landed a blow worth 10 points, for example, you would have 5 Foils added to your pocket at the end of the match.
Note, however, that not every card can be simply purchased. Some cards require you to defeat Scrybes and their minions, while others require a little extra effort to earn. Here’s how to earn the game’s rarest cards:
Card | How to Obtain |
---|---|
Great Kraken | Interact with two tentacles hidden in the world. The first is on the small pier left of Leshy’s Cabin on the map. Stand on the pier and it will appear, press to interact with it. The other is on the top floor of the Wizard’s Tower, in the room on the right. |
Drowned Soul |
Interact with the Well in the Temple of the Dead until you eventually receive this card.
|
Bone Lord’s Horn | From the Bone Lord. See Dark Offering. |
Spore Digger |
Bring two Grave Digger cards to the Mycologists in the Mushroom that appears on the map after you have defeated two Scrybes.
|
Spore Mice | Bring two Field Mice cards to the Mycologists. |
Sentry Spore | Bring two Sentry Drones to the Mycologists. |
Blue Sporemage | Bring two Blue Mages to the Mycologists. |
Devil's Play
Attack for over 666 damage in the Original Inscryption.
Before attempting the Devil’s Play trophy, I recommend having unlocked the Collective Effort trophy first. This is because landing 666 damage requires a very specific set of cards, and it’ll be easier knowing you have them all already. I also recommend using the Training Dummy in the Wizard’s Tower for this.
The cards you will want are Energy Conduit, Stim Mage, a Green Mox Gem card, and another circuit card to go with your Energy Conduit.
The Green Mox allows you to play the Stim Mage. The Stim mage can be given 1 extra power and 1 extra HP by pressing to spend 3 energy. When you have the Energy Conduit in a completed circuit, however, you have infinite energy. This means that you can keep increasing the Stim Mage’s power level until it reaches 666.
You’ll have to sit there and Mash for a long time to get enough power but once you finally land that blow for 666 damage you’ll immediately unlock the trophy.
Dark Offering
Make an offering to the Bone Lord.
To unlock the Dark Offering Card, first get the left Broken Obol by defeating Grimora in the Temple of the Dead. Next, get the right Broken Obol from undead booster packs. You should see both in your Deck Builder if you have them:
Next, go to the Training Dummy in the Wizard’s Tower and press until you have both cards in your hand. Once you do, play and immediately destroy cards from your hand (use to hammer a card) until you have the six bones required to play both Obol cards next to each other:
They will combine before your eyes, forming the “Ancient Obol,” which falls into your inventory.
Once you have it, take it to the Basement in the Temple of the Dead and interact with the sarcophagus in the corner. The Bone Lord will accept your offering and the sarcophagus will slide to the left, revealing another set of stairs and unlocking the “Dark Offering” trophy. Don’t forget to speak to the Blood Lord multiple times to receive his special card.
Act Three Semi-Missable Trophies
Forgotten Lore
Receive all 5 cards from The Trader in P03’s factory.
While working your way through the map in Act 03, make sure you try to move in all directions on each screen, not just the ones with arrows. In many situations, you will find a secret area containing one of four rabbits. These rabbits repeatedly jump over bear traps.
You will also note that the bear traps have a button prompt over them, indicating that you can activate the trap by pressing .
Try to time it so that you close the trap when the rabbit is above it, catching it. You should then collect the pelt that drops.
There is also a fifth Pelt that you will need to acquire from the store at the center of the map:
When you have all five Pelts, get up from the Game Board and enter the room to the left of the table. Inside, you will find a hologram of the Trapper. Give him the five pelts to unlock the Forgotten Lore trophy.
Grim Bounty
Destroy a Level 3 Bounty Hunter card.
To unlock the Grim Bounty card, you will first need a bounty of three stars. As you progress on Act 3’s board, the more money you earn, the higher your bounty will become, indicated via stars which appear above your head.
When you have a bounty of at least one star, Bounty Hunter cards will start appearing at random in your battles.
Once you have a bounty of three stars, continue entering battles until a three-star bounty hunter shows up. Destroy their card to defeat them and unlock the Grim Bounty trophy.
If you are defeated and forced to respawn at any point, your bounty will reset.
Agonizing Remorse
Don't empty the Recycling Bin.
During your fight with the “The Archivist” boss in Act 3 of Inscryption, she will access “your” files multiple times to create game pieces. During the second phase of this boss fight, she will specifically ask you to choose a file that is “dear” to you. This file is used to create a card that is then added to your hand.
To unlock the “Agonizing Remorse” trophy, you must let that card die in battle. The easiest way to do this is to press immediately after playing the card to pull out your hammer. Then, select the card to destroy it and immediately unlock the trophy.
Phase Three | Kaycee's Mod
When you’re done cleaning up trophies from Story Mode via Chapter Select, you’ll be ready to enter Phase Three of our Inscryption Trophy Guide. In this phase, you will enter “Kaycee’s Mod,” a special mode of the game featuring various challenges that you can equip to modify the gameplay in various increasingly-difficult ways.
I’m sorry to say that if you thought you were close to the end of your playthrough, that unfortunately isn’t the case. This final phase will be your biggest challenge and it will take all your knowledge of the game so far to overcome several daunting hurdles.
You should work your way up the challenge levels of the mode by activating enough challenges to meet the score target for the current challenge level. Bear in mind you’ll need to complete an insane run with every challenge active. That said, you’ll also have unlocked various new cards and decks to make things easier. The Mantis God Deck, for example, is by far the best.
Kaycee's Mod Challenge Trophies
Dubious Challenge
Clear Challenge Level 1 in Kaycee's Mod.
Complete Challenge Level 1 of Kaycee’s Mod to unlock “Dubious Challenge.” See “Rise to the Challenge” trophy for more details.
Taunting Challenge
Clear Challenge Level 4 in Kaycee's Mod.
Complete Challenge Level 1 of Kaycee’s Mod to unlock “Taunting Challenge.” See “Rise to the Challenge” trophy for more details.
Roar of Challenge
Clear Challenge Level 8 in Kaycee's Mod.
Complete Challenge Level 1 of Kaycee’s Mod to unlock “Roar of Challenge.” See “Rise to the Challenge” trophy for more details.
Rise to the Challenge
Clear Challenge Level 12 in Kaycee's Mod.
When you are on the challenge select screen, your current Challenge Level is displayed at the top, along with a target score.
To reach the next Challenge Level, you will need to activate enough challenges to either meet or exceed the target score. For example, Challenge Level One has a target score of 5 Challenge Points, so you only need to activate one of the four available challenges and then complete a run to reach Challenge Level 2 and unlock a new Challenge.
Continue doing this, working your way up through the various Challenge Levels of Kaycee’s Mod until you reach and complete Challenge Level 12. You will then have unlocked the “Rise to the Challenge,” “Roar of the Challenge,” “Taunting Challenge,” and “Dubious Challenge” trophies. Additionally, you will have access to many more cards and decks to help with remaining Miscellaneous Trophies.
Skull Storm
Complete a run with every Challenge active in Kaycee's Mod.
After unlocking every single challenge skull in Kaycee’s Mod, you can unlock “Skull Storm” by completing a run with all of them active at once. This is pretty daunting but by combining your knowledge of the game and leveraging the Mantis God Deck, you will eventually be able to pull it off without too much difficulty.
The key to the Mantis God deck is to try and ensure that the Mantis God card remains the only one-blood cost card in your deck. This way, you can guarantee it appears in your initial hand.
Then you can spend the rest of your run trying to enhance the Mantis God card with more traits and higher stats until you can start every fight by dealing over 5 damage and instantly winning.
Kaycee's Mod Miscellaneous Trophies
Master Trinketeer
Unlock all 3 items from the oil painting in Kaycee’s Mod.
If you get up from the game board and look on the wall behind you (to the left of the cuckoo clock), there is an oil painting that depicts a specific board arrangement.
When beginning each playthrough, it’s important to observe and remember the configuration displayed on the board in the painting. As soon as you can, acquire the depicted cards and play them on the board in the exact same configuration as the one in the painting.
Upon successfully doing so, get up from the table as soon as you can and go and press on the painting to receive a new rare item that cannot be acquired otherwise. Leshy will say something about the item and then allow you to use it at your convenience throughout the run. If the run ends, you lose the item. The items are also single-use, so try to think about the best time to use them.
The brush item, for example, is extremely valuable as it will allow you to acquire the Bad Moon card.
After unlocking an item in this way for the first time, they can spawn at backpack locations in subsequent runs!
Unlock all three items by completing the painting puzzle three separate times to unlock the Master Trinketeer trophy.
Start // Finish
Complete a run with every Starter Deck in Kaycee's Mod.
As you make your way through the various Challenge Levels of Kaycee’s Mod, you will slowly unlock more and more Starter Decks to choose from.
Complete a run with all eight starter decks at least once per deck to secure the Start // Finish trophy.
Rookie Mistake
Make 10 misplays in a single Kaycee's Mod run.
Whether or not Misplays are as random as they seem; most of my runs would end with me having made around 15-70 misplays per run, easily, depending on how long the run lasts. Therefore, the chances of you naturally unlocking the Rookie Mistake trophy while working on the other Kaycee’s Mod trophies are extremely high.
Pulling Teeth
Pull out 32 teeth in Kaycee's Mod.
In Kaycee’s Mod, one of the items that you start with in every run is the pair of pliers.
You can use the pliers to literally pull a tooth from your skull and drop it into the scales, tipping the match in your favor by one point. You can do this as many times as you like in a single run, you will just need to collect a new pair of pliers at a backpack spot on the map.
Just make sure you use the pliers whenever they’re available while you work on other trophies in this phase until the Pulling Teeth trophy eventually unlocks.
Bad Moon
Defeat Leshy in Kaycee's Mod without destroying The Moon.
Defeating Leshy without destroying the Moon Card he plays in the third phase of his boss fight will unlock the Bad Moon trophy.
To do that, you will obviously need some flying cards which can attack leshy over the moon. You can either collect cards that already fly, like Ravens and Kingfishers, or you could apply the flying trait to your cards via a totem or skill transfer ritual.
The next problem is that Leshy’s Moon Card can actually block flying attacks, so we need a way to wipe out the moon’s skills. Fortunately, this is possible, but you’ll need to unlock the Master Tinkerer trophy first. By doing that, a paintbrush item will enter the item pool on your runs. Collect this paintbrush and then save it until the Leshy Boss Fight at the end of your run.
There, use the paintbrush to negate all of the Moon’s current skills, allowing you to attack Leshy directly via use of your flying cards. Defeating him in this way, leaving the moon intact (though not unscathed) will result in you receiving the Bad Moon trophy!
