Endling Extinction is Forever All Scents
Endling Extinction is Forever Collectible & Missable Trophy Guide
In this collectible guide you will find detailed descriptions on where each of the Scents are for the Never Give Up, Never Let Down, and Never Run Around trophies. You can also find the locations for each of the Food items for the Omnivore trophy as well as all skills for your Cubs for the For a Better Tomorrow trophy. Additionally you will also find details on when, where, and how to unlock every missable trophy.
1st Lair, The River
It’s recommended that during these first few nights you focus on unlocking Mother Love (pet a cub each night for 5 nights), Peaceful Instinct (don’t kill any animals for 5 nights), as well as Detox Diet (don’t feed your cubs trash for 6 nights). These trophies are relatively easy to achieve during the first 6 days of the River section.
Night 1 - Barking in the Rain & Omnivore
At the start of the first night it will be raining which is the perfect opportunity for unlocking the Barking in the Rain trophy. Press three times in a row and the trophy will unlock. Also during this night you can travel back to where the deer stumbled off the cliff in the opening section to salvage a piece of meat from its body (this is needed for the Omnivore trophy for eating all food types and will not void the Peaceful Instinct trophy for not harming animals for 5 nights).
Night 3 - Scent Traces 1-3 (unmissable)
On this night your cub will be taken and you will have to run out into the night and use to trace 3 scents to begin the investigation which will lead you to the cub. Follow the purple Scent Trail to collect the first scent. Follow the trail again or the line in the map below to find the next two scents.
Night 4 - Jump Skill (unmissable)
On this night your cubs who have begun following you around will automatically learn the Jump skill.
Night 5 - Peaceful Instinct (trophy)
If you have avoided killing any animals such as mice and fish for 5 days then this trophy will unlock at the end of the night.
Night 6 - Scent Traces 4-6
Follow the purple Scent Trail at the start of Night 6 to collect the first scent. Follow the trail again or the line in the map below to find the next two scents.
Night 7 - A Barking Fox Doesn't Bite (trophy)
During Night 7 you can take a trip over to the bridge on the East side of the River area to find a travelling musician known as the “Roamer”. As soon as you get to the bridge you can see him in the distance and if you press you can bark at him to unlock the A Barking Fox Doesn’t Bite trophy. There is one more opportunity to grab this trophy on Night 19.
Night 8 - A Friend in Need (trophy)
During this night you can head to the East side of the map just below the factory area to find a badger trapped in a cage. Approach the cage and tap to free the badger to unlock the A Friend in Need trophy.
Night 9 - Scent Traces 7-9
Follow the purple Scent Trail at the start of Night 9 to collect the first scent. Follow the trail again or the line in the map below to find the next two scents.
Night 9 - Squeeze Skill
After collecting the Scent Trails in the factory head back towards the entrance and jump the ledge to head into the factory. Follow the trail and you will reach a bridge with a jump. All but one of the cubs will make the jump with the final one falling down the gap. Jump down and you can help the cub squeeze through a gap in some wooden planks to the left.
Night 10 - Dig Skill
At the start of Night 10 you will find your path blocked to the right which makes getting to the factory a bit harder. Instead head left and go back over the bridge where you learned the Squeeze Skill. Now you’re back at the factory you need to get into the sewer (check the map for blue dotted lines which indicate sewer passages) and look for a patch of dirt. Once you find it one of your cubs will approach it and you can press to teach it to dig.
2nd Lair, The Forest
Night 15 - Scent Traces 13-15 (1st encounter with Molly)
Follow the purple Scent Trail at the start of Night 15 to collect the first scent. Follow the trail again or the line in the map below to find the next two scents. The Scent Traces will lead to the Scavenger’s home where you can also meet Molly and learn the Climb Skill.
Night 15 - Climb Skill (1st encounter with Molly)
At the third Scent Trace, just outside the Scavenger’s home, you can help your club climb a tree (it seems you need to do this to make the Scavenger leave so you can collect the third Scent Trace). At the top of the tree make sure to head to the right to meet Molly so you can earn the You Can Pet the Fox trophy on Night 16.
Night 16 - You Can Pet the Fox (trophy)
At the start of Night 16 head immediately to the Scavenger’s home where you learned the Climb Skill and picked up the third Scent trace on Night 15. Standing outside will be Molly. Approach her and press when prompted to let her pet you and unlock the You Can Pet the Fox trophy.
Night 17 - Maternity (trophy)
On this night you can find the Badger you encountered in the River area but this time they’re in trouble and their cub is stuck on a ledge above them. You need to reach the cub either by taking the longer path to the left or sneaking through the path to the right where the scavenger is guarding. Once you reach the cub on the ledge you can pick it up by pressing . Now you need to bring the cub back to the Badger but you can’t jump down the ledge so you’ll have to go back down the path with the scavenger. Once you reunite the badger and cub the Maternity trophy will pop.
Night 18 - Scent Traces 16-18
Follow the purple Scent Trail at the start of Night 18 to collect the first scent. Follow the trail again or the line in the map below to find the next two scents.
Lair 3 / The Dumping Ground
Night 22 - High Jump Skill (automatic)
On this night all your cubs will automatically learn the High Jump Skill.
Night 22 - Dangle Skill
On Night 22 you can head back to the Factory and climb the piping outside, only one cub can follow you, and follow the trail to find a nest with a single egg inside. Your cub will automatically attempt to get the egg and become stuck where you can then press to have it learn the Dangle Skill.
Night 22 - Easter Egg (trophy)
Now that you have the Dangle Skill you can head over to the River area and use the skill to get an egg on the edge of a cliff where the map marker is below. Doing this will unlock the Easter Egg trophy.
Night 23 - Scent Traces 22-24
On this night you can follow some more Scent Traces which will lead you to where you can learn the Hunt Skill which you can grab before heading back or leave it for Night 24.
Night 24 - Hunt Skill
If you already learned the Hunt Skill on Night 23 then use this night to feed your cubs. If you have yet to learn the Hunt Skill head to the location on the map and have your cub learn the skill.
Night 24 - Chicken Dinner (trophy)
After learning the Hunt Skill continue heading South towards the Chicken Farm and you will reach a room with a conveyor belt filled with chickens. As you walk under them a chicken will fall that you can then chase and press to catch and feed to your cubs which will unlock the Chicken Dinner trophy.
Night 25 - Scent Traces 25-27
The only thing to do tonight is grab some more Scent Traces and make sure your cubs are fed.
Night 26 - Disable Trap Skill
For this Night the only thing you need to do is learn the last of the Cub Skills—Disable Traps. Head to the location on the map and when you get caught press to have your cub learn the Disable Traps skill.
Night 27 - Scent Traces 28-30
Now we’re getting close to the end just focus on grabbing the Scent Traces and feeding your cubs for tonight. It might be worth trying to unlock any remaining trophies you may have missed in this guide but be warned that some of them might me time-sensitive and being on Night 27 you chance to unlock them may have gone.
