Raji: An Ancient Epic Trophy Guide and Road Map for PlayStation 4

Raji is a short but beautiful indie game set in Ancient India which explores the Indian Mythologies that inspired the game’s stunning artwork. Through this Raji Trophy Guide, I’ll guide you to each of the trophies in the game. That includes showing you the locations of all murals and orbs needed for 100% completion so you can really get the most out of this touching title.

Phase One – Complete the game, Collect all Favor Orbs, and Listen to all Lore.

Our Raji Trophy Guide Road Map has just one Phase with one goal; do everything.

Raji, unfortunately, does not have any sort of Chapter Select feature, so if you miss any collectibles it’s back to square one for you, you will need to complete another full run of the game to mop up anything you missed.

Fortunately, a lot of the orbs are hidden in fairly obvious places, and the murals are extremely difficult to miss. In addition to that, this Trophy Guide includes full chronological directions to each of the collectibles.

Aside from those 10 missable trophies tied to collectibles and lore, every other trophy will come to you naturally through story progression!

Missable Lore & Collectible Trophies

There are 6 trophies in this section of our Raji Trophy Guide all pertain to pieces of lore that can be found in most chapters. You will need to either stand in red circles or interact with murals to hear audio-based lore. These collectible audio clips are typically all in the same area in each chapter and will require you to take the time to listen to each audio clip in its entirety.

Additionally, there are 4 trophies in this section of our Raji Trophy Guide tied to finding all of the 16 favor orbs in Raji. They are distributed across the second, third, and fourth chapters of the game. There are 5 orbs in The Fortress of Jaidhar, 5 orbs in Hiranya Nagari, and 6 orbs in Land of the Mystics.

You’ll get a trophy for collecting all orbs in each of those chapters and then a final trophy for having all 16 orbs. In this Raji Trophy Guide, I will guide you to each Favor Orb and lore collectible in chronological order, without any irritating backtracking, complete with images!

This first lore trophy is unlocked during Chapter 1, in the level “The Ruins.” After a while, Vishnu will say “Look here Durga, they have captured your own story!” as you approach a circular platform with a mural on it and a flower-like red circle on the ground. Step into the circle and press to hear some lore.

You must let the audio clip play out in its entirety before interacting with the next mural, which appears not far from here on the linear path.

Continue interacting with these particularly difficult-to-miss murals, which appear back-to-back along the very linear route. There are 5 in total, and you must let them all play out completely. Once you have heard all 5 audio clips in their entirety, the trophy will unlock.

The Fortress of Jaidhar contains 5 Favor Orbs and you will need to find and collect all 5 to unlock this trophy.

You will collect your first one automatically upon ringing a large bell along the story path. Remember to interact with the murals behind the bell for The Avatars of Durga trophy, too.

The second comes after a couple of battles. You’ll head up a flight of stairs to find two sets of stairs. They both lead to the same place, but you should take the left path and then continue left along the top of the fortress wall.

Follow the linear path along some wooden planks and up a climbable wall to find the orb at the end of a short platforming section.

Return the way you came and then follow the castle walls in the opposite direction. Continue through the level’s main route for a long while until you reach a large gate at which Raji proclaims “This is it, this is where they took the cart!”

Go left to the far-left edge of the wall with the gate on it and you’ll find a tower with some wooden handholds next to it. Fight the enemies that spawn here and then climb up the wall using the handholds.

The orb is in a crevice on the wall, easy to spot once you’ve climbed up.

Continue on along the story route, remembering to interact with the murals after the tree puzzle for The Legend of Shakti.

Eventually, after spotting the cart again, you will have a large fight and then will head up some stairs into a big room with bright light pouring in through the windows.

On both sides of this room, you will find some scaffolding. Go up the scaffolding on the right side of the room to find this orb.

At the end of the level, after another big fight, you will complete a Mandala Puzzle and then head through an enormous door onto a gorgeous exterior path.

This path will lead up some stairs to another huge gate. Go left from this gate and around the side of the building. There, you’ll find the final orb in this level and unlock this trophy!

During Chapter 2, after you have rung a bell for your first Favor Orb (see Exploring the Fortress), you will find 9 murals on the walls surrounding the bell. Approach each mural and interact with them using . Listen to the audio clip for each mural in its entirety before proceeding to the next one.

Once you have heard all 9 audio clips from the 9 murals, this trophy will unlock.

Shortly after completing the tree puzzle in Chapter 2, The Fortress of Jaidhar, you will climb some scaffolding and walk along a bridge to the structure behind the tree. Up here, while Durga and Vishnu are talking about Raji’s bloodline, you will see the first of these murals up on a ledge next to you.

Climb up and interact with it. After you’ve listened to the whole audio clip, follow the wall to the right and climb up to the next floor using the handholds there. Above the last mural, you will find another. Listen to it in its entirety and then move on.

Continue this all the way up the wall until you have heard all four of the audio clips, unlocking this trophy.

If you want this trophy, you will need to find all 5 of the Favor Orbs in the second chapter, Hiranya Nagari.

Play through the linear start to the chapter until you reach a branch in the path where Vishnu says “You remember what I keep in that temple, Durga?”

Here, go left and head down the elevator.

Use the chapter’s new lilypad-planting mechanic to follow the linear path until it splits. Here, you can either go to the right or southward.

Follow the south path to find an orb at the end.

Return to the last branch and go right this time, complete the Mandala and then continue on until you are climbing some wooden scaffolding and the path branches again.

Go right this time and climb up the scaffolding to find a Favor Orb, along with some other useful orbs.

Continue along the main path, climbing up some wooden scaffolding and ending up in a food hall of some sort with a lot of enchanted guards. Along this main part of the route you will find the murals required for The Legend of Garuda, don’t forget to interact with them.

Continue on and do the following; ride an elevator, interact with a switch, complete a gear/cog puzzle, and ride another elevator. After all that, you will be back at the temple where the paths originally branched and can now go to the right.

This path is similar to the left path and you will eventually, once again, find yourself on some scaffolding where the path branches allowing you to go up and to the right or down and to the left.

Go right again and follow the platforms to the third orb in this chapter.

Continue along and complete another cog/gear puzzle to completely drain the water blocking your path into the temple where the paths originally branched.

Follow the main path up into the temple. You will receive the Sword and Shield here. Don’t forget to interact with all of the murals here for The Avatars of Vishnu.

Continue on the linear path until a cutscene in which Raji sheds some tears into the waters of Vishnu’s temple. Afterward, plant a lilypad and use it to reach the wooden platforms.

Follow the platforms until you reach a wall-run panel. North of you there are some more wooden platforms, jump to those instead and then follow this path to the right.

There will be a long stretch of water to cross using the lilypads.

At the end of this section, you will find another wooden platform with the fourth Favor Orb on it.

Return to the main path using the lilypad seeds and wooden platforms to your left and then continue on using the wall-run panel this time.

A short while later, after some more lilypad platforming, you’ll land on a marble platform with three sets of stairs. The stairs to the right are where you arrived from. The ones to the north will take you to the end of the level, and the ones to the left lead to a Favor Orb.

Grab a few lilypad seeds from the north stairs but use them at the bottom of the left stairs to create a path across the water to the next set of seeds.

Continue using lilypad seeds to reach the other side, but be wary of the fish who will destroy your lilypads if you’re not quick enough. This can definitely get frustrating. Consider throwing a decoy lilypad to distract the fish and buy yourself some time.

On the other side, climb the wooden scaffolding to the top where you’ll find the final Favor Orb and receive this trophy!

Chapter three has two main branching paths from a large temple near the start of the chapter. If you are following our Favor Orbs guide for Exploring The Golden City then you will go down the left path first, which is where you will find these murals.

After coming across some enchanted guards high up at the top of some wooden scaffolding, you will follow the linear path to the right and will see these red murals along the wall, they’re very hard to miss.

Interact with each one, letting the audio clips play out in their entirety as usual, and this trophy will unlock once you’ve heard all 5 audio clips.

In Chapter 3, after completing two gear/cog puzzles to open the way to Vishnu’s temple, you will be able to head up the stairs there. At the top, several large stone blocks will move into place, revealing a Sword & Shield at the center.

Once you have the Sword & Shield, don’t forget to interact with the 10 murals nearby, via the red flower-like circles on the ground. Let each audio clip play out completely before interacting with the next mural and this trophy should unlock when you’ve heard all 10 clips.

The first of the Favor Orbs in Chapter 3 is very hard to miss. Progress until the third battle with an enemy in red.

Afterward, you’ll climb a nearby vine hanging from a tree. At the top, jump off to the left, and the Orb will be in plain sight.

Continue on through a great many battles until you complete a Mandala Puzzle. Afterward, you will slide down some more vines to reach a large open space next to a waterfall.

Head to the waterfall in the top-right corner. There’s a ledge in front of it, climb up the ledge and go inside the waterfall.

Behind it, you will find the second Orb in this Chapter.

Now you may continue on until you receive Shiva’s Ice Elemental abilities. You will also receive the third Orb in this Chapter automatically when this happens.

From there, continue to the top of the waterfall and follow the linear path on some rocks over water until the path branches.

Here, go right and head inside the waterfall to find the fourth Orb in this Chapter!

The next orb is again very difficult to miss. After another battle you will head down a very large log to a wall you can climb.

Climb up the wall and you’ll see another ledge above you with the Favor Orb on it. Climb up to reach and collect it.

Continue to the left and complete the second Mandala Puzzle in this chapter to progress. On this inclined linear path, you will find all of the Murals you need to interact with for Tales from The Mystical Lands so be careful not to miss those.

Shortly after those murals, you will have a fight. Defeat the enemies and continue on to the vines you must climb down. At the bottom, head right to find a wall you can climb.

Ignore this wall for now as it is the way to go. Instead, continue to the right and you’ll find the final orb just around the corner. Collecting it should unlock you this trophy, and Favor of the Gods too (if you have all orbs in the other chapters).

Now you should be able to just enjoy the rest of the game without worrying you might miss something!

This will unlock when you have all 16 favor orbs. See Exploring The Fortress, Exploring The Golden City, and Exploring The Mystical Lands. IF you have been following those guides while you play, this trophy will unlock at the end of Chapter 4.

In Chapter 4, The Mystical Lands, there are two Mandala Puzzles you will need to complete in order to progress. Shortly after the second one is where you will find the Murals required for this trophy.

Just head up the ramp and climb the wall to see the extremely hard-to-miss first mural on your right.

Interact with each one, making sure to leave enough time between each Mural for the audio clips to play out fully. Once you have heard the audio clips for all 5 Murals, this trophy will unlock!

Unmissable Story Trophies

The trophies in this section of our Raji Trophy Guide are all tied to story progression. As such, you will unlock them all simply by reaching the end of the game.

During Chapter 1, when you receive the “Trishul” weapon, this trophy will unlock.

When you complete the first chapter, this trophy will unlock.

During Chapter 2, when you receive the “Bow” weapon, this trophy will unlock.

When you complete the second chapter, this trophy will unlock.

During Chapter 3, when you receive the “Sword & Shield” weapon, this trophy will unlock.

When you complete the third chapter, this trophy will unlock.

During Chapter 4, when you receive access to the “Ice Elemental” upgrade tree, this trophy will unlock.

When you complete the fourth chapter, this trophy will unlock.

When you complete the fifth chapter, this trophy will unlock.

When you complete the last chapter, this trophy will unlock.

When you have completed all chapters, this trophy will unlock. It should unlock along with The Deserts of Thar.
